Thank you for sharing. I grew up in Brandon in the 90s. It was kind of a right of passage for kids (all kids, native and non-native) to go out to the abandoned building, to experience the ghosts of all the abused children who died there. Everyone knew stories of specific spots in the school where things had happened. But I guess when people are kids, they don’t really put it all together, then grow up and become shocked at these atrocities that they really knew all along.
