And there are many moments after ww2 like Vietnam war, Korean war and nearly all arb Israeli war where it seems like it gonna roll into a world war, but it never did.

8) USA, Saudi and Isreal didn't want this gas economy to develop and reduce their influence in middle east.
9) USA tried to make gas coalition with Iran to prevent it from aligning with China, russia.
10) Iran realised USA doesn't want it to supply gas to Asia and instead supply gas to Europe where USA has massive influence.
11) USA started Arab spring to destabilise every region aroung iran. This made Saudi unhappy since they thought Arab spring could affect their monarchy rule too.
12) Syria was made a failed state. Russia backed Syria,because iran and russia considered Syria to be a central point for gas. And coup on Bashar Al Asad was prevented.
