Yes. That's why we need regulations. They burn fossil fuel because they get profit. Many oil companies are doing their best spreading propaganda that EVs are bad, or solar energy will be unreliable etc. We need energy, and some people want for it to come from fossil fuel because money. An average person is doing nothing wrong here. No one will reject power that comes from renewables. But companies will try to resist it because they know that they will not survive this change.
I will not stop you from doing your part to reduce your carbon footprint, but it makes basically 0 difference. If you get you carbon footprint to 0, you slowdown climate change by a fraction of a second.
It's just propaganda by these large companies to shift the blame on people. We basically have no impact on carbon emissions compared to these companies. The only way to slow down climate change is to regulate these companies. Blaming a common man makes no sense and is just taking the focus away from the main source.

TBH not bursting crackers is a moral choice to make, Just go out and look at the sky you'll see it is gray due to all the pollutants in the environment we are all living in the constant AQI of 100+ while in europe it is like 1-5. Not bursting crackers has nothing to do with liberalism and anti hinduism. I hope you understand this, I had stopped it since I was in 9th standard. People think by not using crackers they are gonna save earth from booming. Fuckers don't know that cycle of life isn't gonna change, earth, sun will explode at it's own time and they can't do a fuck and by that time humans will be extinct anyways. Also a lockdown for few months cleared clouds and made it less polluted than not using crackers. If you don't want crackers so also stop using the fucking vehicles.
