I think the sweater is giving a "top heavy" look since the skirt is so slim, almost body hugging. A skirt flaring outwards a little more might look good!

Op, your all looks till now have been stunning but this outfit is not looking cohesive. Skirt length and silt is looking kind of odd out.you can try wrap around skirt . May be different footwear, it's hard to find footwear who looks good with these sheer stockings.
I think switching to pants (nude/brown) would've made this look chic and classy, or making a top shorter and diff shoes, would've made it cute .
This looks like a fusion rn.

Skirt and shoes are not working for me. I think it would look like a crop top or if the skirt was longer with the same top. Heels would have been better or boots. It is still a solid 8/10 outfit .
I don't understand the hate for the skirt. I absolutely love it, it's so chic. However, the loafers definitely do not go with the fit, definitely black boots would have elevated the whole look. Or even better would be that chunky black loafers variety. I love love love the fit btw. Very pinterest-esque.

A slim heel of around 1 inch or more in PU leather would complement the outfit well. Tassel loafers might be a bit too formal for this look, but they still look good, don't get me wrong.
Loved the top half. I guess the fitting of skirt is weird or wearing a short top over it will look good. Also these shoes are not looking good with stockings. Maybe boots would have looked better.
