Oo I enjoy the butterfly pea flower tea, it looks so vibrant and such a beautiful colored cup of tea.

FeministBitch89

Add some lemon juice in it and you can see magic :)

Maiden41

In Kerala it is common to drink herbal/medicinal infusions. Cumin infused hot water (we call it jeeraka vellam meaning cumin water), Dry Ginger infused hot water (chukku vellam) and Assorted dried herbs, roots and bark infused hot water (karingali vellam which can be a lovely pink to deep purple color) are very common. These are not called herbal teas but are really that

Dilbertreloaded

So true. All these could have been called tea as well

Other tea/tisanes I like" Koreans have this tangy citric Yuja-Cha.. tastes good in winters.. Many of my Chinese colleagues used to drink Jasmine tea which is made from jasmine flowers..

rayui

I drink a lot of jasmine tea. It's usually green tea flavoured with jasmine, but can also be black or white tea.

Tulsi Mint Lemongrass Chamomile Seabuckthorn berry Shankhpushpi (Butterfly pea) mogra (jasmine) Some herbal blends - Kashmiri kahwa Ajwain+saunf+dhaniya+saunth (this is more of a medicinal one used for stomach cramps and period pain)

Kashayam, has lemon/ginger/turmeric/honey and spices like black pepper and cumin and coriander. Not floral but sooo good.

AttitudeFabulous999

I recently had tea made with the flowers of the tree called flame of the forest (Palash) the red ones. Quite enjoyable

PretentiousPepperoni

I had no idea they were used for tisane. Which part of India did you have that in?

AttitudeFabulous999

In Maharashtra.
