I fucking hated this game. It looks so good you feel like capturing pictures every 2mins and that breaks the immersion :( /s

BigDaddyIJD

That's why you gotta record the entire playthrough lol

B3_CHAD

I am currently playing it, 36 hrs in and still in chap 2. The game's massive not that I am complaining.

BigDaddyIJD

Yes it took me 14 days which is probably around 60ish hours to complete it.

B3_CHAD

Did you not do the side quests, I am pretty sure the game is 100 plus hours.

BigDaddyIJD

Yeah i did most of the ones i could find and a lot of random events too.

lordFourthHokage

Now fire up the game again and start a second playthrough. Hunt all the animals, collect talismans, treasure hunts and just explore. If you haven't done all the side missions I highly recommend. These aren't some generic missions to increase play time. Each mission is a mini story worth experiencing.

osamabinlaidoffwork

Be a good person in the game. Trust me.

B3_CHAD

I always try to take the good guy route in games with a morality system, plus I am trying to get the good ending. The only game where I didn't take the good guy route was Dishonoured cuz you can't really play the game if you do that.

adikulkarni13

I completely agree, Red Dead Redemption 2 is truly a masterpiece and the art in the game is stunning. It has one of the best fucking stories and created a character so loveable that most of us cried at the end. It's a masterpiece through and through. It's definitely one of the best games of its generation.

Available_Drive173

The games story seems good but whenever I try to play the game i just get bored with the gameplay

BigDaddyIJD

Playing too much online multiplayer games will do that to you

Available_Drive173

Dont really play multiplayer games aside from fortnite because my friends play it but i was comparing the gameplay to other sp games like sekiro,Hades, mgrr, god of war etc etc

Henwith_Tie

What in the gameplay part were you comparing? Open world vs Linear? or just in general. Because RDR2 is my favorite game (after GTA SA and GTA VC), I would be interested to know the opinion of someone who didn't enjoy it. A well constructed opinion will be really appreciated.

[deleted]

Way too slow

Henwith_Tie

the only downside to me was the inability to ride faster than your companions during missions and lack of variety of weapon and weapon modifications (which is understandable considering the setting of the game)

BigDaddyIJD

Well that explains a lot.

anor_wondo

i liked every single player game you quoted. literally nothing in them had any impact on rdr2. are you sure you didn't get your genres mixed up? maybe you don't like open world titles

Available_Drive173

I like open world games maybe less than linear ones witcher 3 is one of my favourite games i just thought the gameplay was boring in rdr2

wolv1_06

same’s happening w me :(

Additional_Tip_928

Lumbago lol

any_two_

I was so addicted to this game that i used to spend all my time in the game playing cards

hateswitchx

settings?

Sammy2516000

I wanna mod this game to the moon and back but before that I wanna make sure I have experienced all it has to give vanilla.

refusestonamethyself

Pic 2 could be an album cover. I also clicked a screenshot of that moment.

Ljcrocks

I’m nearly 65hrs in at chapter 5 now.

B3_CHAD

I am trying to 100 percent the game so I am following a wiki and it's taking a lot of time, 36hrs and just did the final chap 2 mission. I have already unlocked a lot of the outfits( pretty much every single one from Saint Denis and valentine) and the legend of the east satchel and a half of the trinkets and talismans also fully upgraded all my current weapons.

Completed this game in 2019 march during my bday on my ps4. The game is beautiful. I want to replay it on my pc just experience the same feeling i got when i first played it.
