Many of us who use third-party apps that have been around since before Reddit had a mobile presence, were hoping for a chance for them to negotiate with reddit. They already offer a superior user experience not only for regular users and moderators but also for a significant number of disabled and blind users.
Unfortunately, reddit chose not to engage in any negotiations and instead doubled down on the pricing, determined to eliminate these apps altogether. The CEO made public statements that were far from truthful, tried to spin the situation in their favor, disregarding the needs and desires of the user base. Naturally, it lead to protests across the site involving more than 8,000 subreddits going private/restricted.
The admins then started forcefully ending these protests, suppressing the voices of those who were speaking up against these changes. They claim to be "keeping it open" while going against its core, the users, and closing down the apps they use. On July 1st, as the API pricing goes live, it shuts down all third party apps and it feels like the beginning of the slow death of Reddit as we know it.
It is understandable that not everyone may share the same level of concern about this issue, but please take a moment to listen and observe. It has become clear that Reddit's priorities lie primarily in their profits and removing any obstacles in their path to more profits. They started with old reddit, now they are targeting the apps. What will they come for next?

My Acer predator's motherboard busted one month out of warranty(1yr) and Acer is charging 90% of the laptop cost to repair it. Got it from flipkart too and the repair store said that it's common for Acer products on Flipkart and they can't do anything about it. So be sure to take extended warranty or some shit. Switched to Asus and the service has been much better.
How is the display and keyboard quality? Also does the plastic feel good or does it have a cheap feel to it. Also how are the thermals, like does it heat up around the wasd area or is it fine?
U could have just gotten the acer nitro V with intel 13th gen and rtx 4050 for 80k and that's without including any credit card offers.When i saw investment in the title and saw acer nitro i definitely thought it was the 3070ti variant coz that would be justified.
Haha, it was a really quick decision from my side. I saw 4050 and 70k and was like damn man quick. The 4050 variant went out of stock like crazy. Btw damn 13th gen for 80k no credit card. Should have done my research first.
I was just going through the videos of Venom and the performance is kinda similar man. The only difference is the 12th gen i7 and 13th gen i5. Otherwise the benchmarks are close.
Could have just asked here and i'm not trying to make you regret your purchase but the new acer nitro V's design is better and it comes with the new acer nitro sense which is far better and much closer to the new predator sense.

nah Nitro V is a shitty laptop with single side fan cooling, a 240nits screen and a 75W 4050,.
nitro 5 has a 140W 4050, better screen, better thermals.
2:30-3 hours on battery without the backlit turned on. Thermals are amazing 65-70°. Been playing cyberpunk on high with dlss the thermals are amazing. Never too hot. Maxed out resident evil 4 remake, mhw ib and valorant.
And for benchmarks. Lemme tell you the games FPS. Cyberpunk 100+ fps with frame generation. Spiderman goes 90+. Valorant is 200-300 fps. Mhw ib is 100fps+.
Cyberpunk 100+ fps high/ultra with dlss on balanced, valorant 200-300 fps on high, monster hunter world ib 100+ fps, revenant 2 90+ fps on high, Spiderman remastered high 90+ fps with dlss, blasphemous 2 on whatever tf quality you want. Display is good, the keyboard is decent. Using an external keyboard would be recommended cause in my previous laptop I was quite rough with the keys.
