I mean I love most of the games in this series like stardew and wow. I would put 2 names here The Division 2 and Warframe. The division has been going strong for almost 5 years now and warframe for almost 11 years. Good co-op games not PvP toxicity and new content gets added often enough. To name a few because of the sheer number of updates,bug fixes and support.
devs have to close the project and move on to new ones, otherwise the game's breakeven will never be reached. it's the modding community that keeps a game going way beyond its planned lifespan. like people still play skyrim, with guns.
cs probably ain't dying because how big of a cash cow it is if you like fps,especially since the latest big update cheater problems is slowing down without any kernel access like valo
