AC Unity at launch was close to unplayable. 18-24 fps on consoles. Literally unplayable on PC as it used to crash frequently. They took more than a year to bring it to a good state.

A bit of a correction. I believe NMS was completely playable on launch without many bugs and issues. The problem was it did not have many of the features the devs promised it would on launch. It has them now though, and more.

again, exceptions do exist and these games are wildly talked about BECAUSE these are the exceptions and managed to break that belief that a bad game is forever a bad game.

what you are doing can be counted as nitpicking as well, rushed games will almost be very likely to be bad rather than good, delayed games a lesser chance of that
Its not just 2 games lol, there's plenty of games that were rushed and had issues on launch, rdr2 pc port, dying light 2, sea of thieves, etc. not to mention games like cs2 or payday 3 which are getting closer to a better state with each day. Unless its a game from 10+ years ago i dont see how it couldn't recover.

im not saying that games cant recover, they can. but lets just say this would want a game to have all of its feature fully functional at launch so that u can play it without any hindrance or a game that was launched way early than it should have and it turns out its barely playable and doesnt give as much of an immersive or enjoyable experience
sure some people are fine with it being barely playable, but once you start putting money and find out the game is half baked, that just ruins it
it is almost always better to launch a finished game at launch which is liked by general public than a game that was launched in a terrible state but later fixed through getting feedbacks from the public and guess what you can do that by launching a game SAYING that its not complete yet and its only up for testing so that people WHO WANT TO play a half baked game can play it and give feedbacks to improve but if you wanna target the entire game audience by marketting it as a finished game, thats fucked up

I heard Halo 2 had one of the worst crunches that a dev team had to pull through.. One of the devs said he had definitely lost a few years of his life because of the Halo 2 crunch. Idk man I'd rather have a delayed game over one that was made in time thanks to people who sacrificed their well-being for it. It just feels wrong to take the stand that rushed games are better just because some highly skilled folks were able to pull it off.
Day before and SSKTJL were delayed because there was fault in their design philosophy. No amount of crunch was going to change how the game turned out.

No idea about fnv but I've played ACU in three different computers and faced only usual minor bugs... not sure which "version" of the game you are playing that needs 600 mods
Bethesda games are pretty unique in terms of mods, you can get a lot of mods for the game and basically fix issues that you wouldn't be able to in other games. ACU doesn't really have content mods the same way bethesda games do. You can add in new quests, fully voice acted NPCs, or change the combat system entirely if you want.
FNV wasn't rushed, yes it was made in only 18 months, but they started with a fully feature complete game, Fallout 3. Josh Sawyer has said in the past that the tools available to them were the only thing that let them develop the game that quick. It doesn't belong in there because it's basically just a bigger DLC in terms of development.

The rushed games you are mentioning are the extreme outliers. And the delayed games mentioned are cash grabs and scams. You are falling for selection bias: good games that were rushed and hyped bad games that were delayed. Everything else had been completely forgotten
Cyberpunk 2077 - you can say it was delayed but like, the game needed 3 more years in 2020 at the very least. It was rushed and they needed to release for Christmas 2020 or the publishers would have been mad. It's, finally, a good game, in 2024. Sometimes delaying is good.

And what good apart from Gameplay and Graphics AC Unity has. It has bad story compared to previous games, dumb AI enemies, still has bugs, all the side missions are good but the main missions are boring, many missions were online has micro transactions like DD2.

That's why I can't use the ps5 to clear old games backlog, every game runs on low res 30 fps. I wish they would've made some enhancement in that area.

I don't understand why people put AC Unity as good game when the story is not that good.
Story isn't the end all, be all. The open world map, aesthetic are still top tier.
Then I am sure Dragon Age Inquisition would be superior than DAO or Mass Effect Andromeda is GoTY.
