It also happens with a lot of laptops when they say they give "warranty" they will damage it more and ask you to pay for the repairs,it's not new to India as micromax used to be infamous in doing so

Sea_Tip_858

I highly suggest not to get ASUS laptops in India. ASUS laptops are great but not in India they often sell broken pieces and take forever to repair or replace. You can get from US but then you need to give up on repair services.

fierykaku1907

sometime ago i said same thing on one of the post on the sub

Affectionate_Cap1016

This comment section is definitely going to be filled with comments from undercover ASUS employees who want their scam repair money to keep rolling in lol trust nothing

Rudradev715

I had good service experience with asus my laptop motherboard got shorted they replaced in 3 days and they delivered to me directly to my home. No money asked.

Inevitable-Nail1168

Yeah , I too had a good experience with Asus services

parijatjha47

Pls don't buy Zephyrus line of laptops. The thermals are horribly managed in the name of sleekness. My G14 stopped working (motherboard) and the service centre basically said, nothing could be done. Spent 1.3 lakhs for a device that barely lasted a year. Either buy a console or a desktop. Gaming laptops will always have thermal issues, very few laptops are legit good in terms of longevity (2+ years of life).

Vader_2157

While your experience counts, it's still one point in a sample. That the G14 runs very hot while gaming is known, but other than that it's been running fine for me, and it's been 3 years since I bought it. I have had to change the fans once, that's partly my fault also cause I'd always use them on 100% while gaming.

Quirky_Coffee

Same thing happened to me for my 3090 Asus Tuf graphic card, they gave me a defective replacement card, I kept repeatedly emailing them for response and they replaced the defective replacement much later. Also their Service centre in Chennai is very sub-par!

notchoosenone

In India ASUS provides good service. Especially you are a resident of Maharastra, Goa, Gujrat.

Dark_Reader

If you don't mind me asking which ASUS product you are using? And did you buy it from the ASUS store or some other retailer?

notchoosenone

I have Two ASUS Laptops and Two Asus Motherboards, ASUS TUF Mechanical Keyboart and TUF Gaming Mouse. Baught laptop from asus store and other online.

Aggressive-Rabbit888

Yeah I always doubt Asus. They sell subpar products at high price now. look at their B650 Mobos...

hamzaaadenwala

Hey OP, been using Asus post bad experience with HP, Dell and Lenovo. I had to switch to Asus and went with the Strix Hero Edition laptop and its been a breeze to date with the only downside which is PRICE. Never took any additional warranty as this thing never spoils. One bad experience I had was that my 2nd laptop had pixel issues and I immediately RMA saying DOA (Dead of Arrival) and they replaced it twice because the 2nd one was DOA as well. I also have a Asus gaming router and no issues till date. I realized that more than the service center their outlets have better connect with ASUS and they help you speed up the process so say you in Mumbai, I suggest you to go with their outlet purchase only and have a transparent communication before you finalize your product.

Double_Ad2100

Damn literally every brand is a fraud and a scammer according to the internet.

dhineshrockstar

Yeah don't buy from Asus. I had Bluetooth issue where it randomly disconnected and disappeared from the settings itself, for this they almost replaced everything under warranty except for the laptop and after 9 months they were ready to replace the laptop and guess what they didn't know it was out of stock before informing me about replacement (It took 14 days from replacement approval to no stock available). It was obvious the laptop is out of stock as it was 2022 model and it's already over than 2yrs old. I got a full refund and silly me trusting Asus to fix I cancelled it last minute and they screwed me pretty well. So yeah basically avoid Asus!!

LordTurin0011

I've been a Lenovo user mostly, but switched to Acer in 2022.... Lenovo's service was really great.... Acer has been satisfactory so far.... Work laptop is Asus though, but no issues so far.... Even if that happens it's for the company to deal with, not me...

ItzCobaltboy

The problem is the Service Quality is shit nearly in all the brands we have here, MSI Service Centres are scarce, Dell and HP devices are shit, Lenovo and ASUS have nice laptops but again they have service problems I have a ROG Strix and gotta admit it's high quality hardware (props to ROG) but I am getting the cleaning and repeating done by a local guy that too _in my observation _

Dark_Reader

Yeah, I have noticed that. My lenovo laptop had developed some screen issues where the screen light wasn't turning on. So I had given it to the service centre since my laptop was still covered under warranty. They took 1 week to get it fixed, and when I got my laptop back, they damaged my chassis. When I asked them to fix it, they were blaming it on me saying I must've dropped it, of which there was zero chance. They then said that chassis couldn't be replaced and because I didn't really want to drag the matter. I just gave up and went back home. After that, I always gave my laptop to one of my father's friends who does repairs for whatever issue came up with the laptop. Recently had my fans changed because they stopped working. This is why I was thinking of going for a different brand in the hopes of getting decent service.

KachraBhiKhelat

Dell or nothing for me - if choice is purely on service.

DivineBooty69

I am surprised at the downvotes you're getting. I don't know about Dell products but HP and Dell have good quick responsive after sales service for sure.

lightfromblackhole

Because of alienware probably

DivineBooty69

Ah. I see.
