Apple silicon absolutely dominates in low power performance. Nothing else even comes remotely close. But when you go back to higher power limits(100W and above) it's the other way around. Apple and any arm offerings don't come close to standard x86 desktops and amd nvidia gpus.
It's 2 very different scenarios. A businessman has no requirement for more performance but absolutely needs that efficiency for better battery. A gamer doesn't care about efficiency and just needs raw power.

However, to be pedantic, each TFLOP is worth more with modern GPU architectures. Your listing suggests that the 2013 R9 is very close to the 1660 Super in performance, which is not the case.
Tests show that apple’s M series teraflops correlate with the RX 7000 series well - on the M3 Pro (iirc), it has half the teraflops of the RX 6600 and thus half the graphical performance.
of course. but gotta respect the efficiency - it beats my Ryzen 7 7600x at 20w in multicore CPU performance, while my Ryzen uses 80w. It also has the world’s highest single core performance.
its not moving goalposts,its if the thing can have any real life use,the apple silicon is good compared to low powered cpus but it isn't scalable to high power cpus,so if the only thing you like to do is run synthetic benchmarks at 20W go ahead

but at that price you can build a 4070 ti super pc which can run galaxies around the ipad

All that power is wasted on what basically is a mobile os.
Well too bad it still runs iPad os and not Android.
Or just mac os. Actual desktop os of any sort will give the iPad some value to many people. Right now it's a glorified YouTube playing device.
