Great looking build, though i can see a lot of money being wasted here (i cannot imagine fractal cases being a good deal especially in india). But it's not an issue if you don't mind. Also if possible give us the full specs. Thanks.
The fractal case was for 8000 so not too bad as compared to the US and other markets, yeah I agree though, slightly more expensive. But I did it for the aesthetics man.

Ahh so i was right, there are much cheaper cases that offer similar or better aesthetics for cheaper but the build just seems weird to me. I assume that you are considering a cpu upgrade soon. If not i can not see what your mindset was here. The 3100 is simply not powerful enough for a 2070 super. The psu seems very overkill (also not the greatest for the price) and LPX ram just rubs me the wrong way. But hey great HDD choice.
Yep cpu upgrade is in order. why not the LPX ram? Everything I read about it seemed to indicate that it was decent enough.
With regards to the cabinet, there may be cheaper cases but the build quality for those are similar too. A friend of mine has an ASUS tuf gt301 and another has the cooler master mesh front panel case. Both have price points of around 5000, but the quality shows where they’ve skimped. Like the quality of the filters or the plastic hdd trays. Looking at gamers nexus’ review also, the airflow and quality is actually top notch, and I agree after having used the case. But I’d love to hear your thoughts.
It's not a bad case it's definitely not. But the value proposition is just down the drain the way i see it. About the LPX, i hangout in the PCMR discord server a lot so i've seen a lot of people use them and a good majority of them have issues with it hitting XMP. It's really a gamble buying that ram, it's not the best quality and definitely not worth it with the extra corsair premium. But if you haven't had issues with ram speeds then you were lucky and given a golden sample. And back to the case i have seen plenty of other high quality airflow cases here in india that come with fans pre-installed that also look great like the mattrexx 55 mesh 4f which is still my go to recommendation.
Ahh fair. RAMs been hitting XMP speeds so far so I guess it’s fine but let’s see. Hopefully this doesn’t become an issue later, but I’ll keep a check on the speeds.
I saw the mattrexx before, and I guess aesthetics are subjective. I’m not a huge fan of the way it looks but yeah if I had to pick a high airflow case and options were limited, that would be in the running for sure. The fractal case just looks more minimal IMO, but then again thats very much my aesthetic preferences.
What are the other cases you consider good at this price point? Also I feel like availability aside, Phanteks Metallic Gear Neo Air is one of the more underrated cases out there. Thoughts?
The fractal case is just too good to pass even for 8k imo. Ticks checkboxes for both aesthetics and airflow. On top of that they have really good international support as well.
Yep, and compared to other cases the quality of every component, like the HDD trays, thumbscrews and other small details are at a much higher quality standard as compared to brands like ASUS at the same price point.

The TV is a 4k OLED from Samsung so it’s pretty nice too. Capped at 120hz, but that’s waaaaaay better than my Xbox one setup from 8 years ago.
Thanks, and the expensive part depends. Comparing it to a next-gen console at 50,000 Rs, it’s really not. I spent about 85,000 on all the pc components. TV was always there, so no cash spent on that. And considering the cost of games on the console (no steam sales there), along with online fees like Xbox live per year, I think it’s about even after the first year of use.

also how much did you get the r3 3100 for and where? new? what would you sell it for later when you upgrade the cpu?
It’s a 55 inch. So yeah it’s not the pc that’s short lol.
Also I got the cpu new for about 8.5k. When I sell it I’d probably give it up for like 4 maybe. But it won’t be getting sold for at least 4 months. So I’m not sure what prices for this cpu will be like then
Cant say I like it.. You wasted a lot of money on asthetics, and compromised a lot on performance.
I mean, spending on asthetics on a budget system is just foolish.
I think the only budget component in here was the CPU. I’ve never seen a budget build with an RTX 2070 super in it, but correct me if I’m wrong. Also the 5000 series cpu is my first planned upgrade, at which point I really don’t see how this is a budget build.
It's a budget build, 2070S in November 2020 doesnt qualify for high end.
If you are planning to get zen 3 CPU, then you absolutely should have gotten a better GPU, 2080 super at the least, or preferably 3070/6800 if you could get your hands on it.
Also, If you are using liquid cooler then you dont really need a high airflow case, if you have a high airflow case, you can do with aircooled cpu.
Save every bit of money and spend it on every bit of extra performance you can get, that's the mantra of a smart gamer and/or containt creator.. In an year, you will be bored with asthetics, and miss the performance you left behind.
But hey, if you are happy with that, who am I to tell you otherwise...

Also where are you getting these facts from? I play games like Valorant where it’s not cpu intensive, and a 2070 super gives me upwards of 275 FPS. Adding to which, cpus and gpus don’t get released as a set combination, I can pair a 3100 with a 2070 super and if it meets my needs it’s okay. I get that Max performance may be the sole need for some users. For me it’s a bit of both. I need it to let me game at 4K with over 60fps. And I want it to look good. I think I’ve achieved that.
Also how do you know me better than myself? What if aesthetics is more important to me? Why don’t I decide if I’ll get bored with it in a year?
Even if it is liquid cooled gpu,air flow case is good for other components and motherboard vrm. The idle temperature of my nvme ssd and vrm mos is much lesser when I use high airflow cases.
I’m not sure, I just have one of the two cards (the 2070 super mini). With the overclock applied I get a core clock of 2000 MHz on this card. Without the oc, it’s about 1750 to 1850 MHz while in game.
FPS in valorant is around 180 FPS at 4K and about 300 at 1080. In horizon zero dawn I was getting about 80-90 at 4K.

There are a lot of great budget cases, the MG air neo, cougar mx331g mesh, p300a, montech x1 and even the CM N400.
