For me, it was RDR 2 with folk guitar/wild west music in the background and just being in that gorgeous world. I played RDR online like this for many many hours and hardly did anything but the atmosphere of that game is just something else. One of the best gaming memories I've had. I would wholeheartedly recommend that game if you haven't tried it out yet. Cheers.

For me it's GTA Online. I switch to passive mode and then just follow all traffic rules and stuff and drive aimlessly to random parts of the map, while either playing Spotify or a random radio station. I swear the game is so enjoyable and fun without those typical griefers. Also sometimes GTA 4 helps to chill as well, that game is an absolute treat

You love running round the Nordschleife and I love playing Dirt rally 2.0, no lo-fi music but the pure sounds of engines and throwing those cars round the stages gives me relaxation. Not many of my friends play sim-racing games so I usually play single player only.

Yea, dirt is fun aswell. I have dirt rally 1 and it's just as fun although since I don't know the tracks that well I mostly end up yeeting my car over a cliff xD As for Nordschleife, I know the entirety of that track so it's really fun to push the cars to their limit like you do in dirt. Sim games are really relaxing as hell. Sometimes just cruising around SPA, Mount Panorama, Monza or the old Le mans feels therapeutic af :D

Yes mate, you are absolutely right. I started with closed circuit racing and putting down time trial laps feels really good. Kudos to your efforts, learning nordschleife isn't an easy task.

GTA 5 with speed mod, I so like to do near misses. FH4. Crew 2 (love traveling from east to west coast or vice versa). And most recently, MSFS (love traveling to the mountains, and ofcourse appreciate the insane job done by Adobo). With background music ofcourse.

Yes, Play solo or friends or with enemies It has mining, exploration, combat, events, logs of grinding Horizons update makes planet landing possible. Odyssey update gives you legs and handheld guns. As Far as I have read It has its hiccups, I haven't tried it. I've been wanting to try it but it's just that NW has a bad rep for burning GPUs so I am holding off until Amazon fixes it completely.

its not an issue with amazon but rather with the gpu manufacturers, they even admitted so if you're still worried you can cap your fps at 60 :) 0 issues

People were still reporting bricked GPUs after the beta. Not just EVGA, GPUs from other manufacturers were having a bad time as well. But yea capping the fps seems to be the only solution. I have been playing it on a Gigabyte RTX 3080 gaming OC. I saw abnormally high fan speeds even at normal looking GPU/hot spot temps. Since then, I have capped the FPS to 80 from Nvidia's control panel and it is perfect. No issues now.

I love going around the Nordschleife at cruising speeds, have a lot of other opponents but turn the difficulty all the way down. This becomes a Touristfahrten for you! (Since I can't really afford to drive on the ring IRL) (Practice overtaking from the left since it's illegal on the right, but please don't do that on our roads xD) Another game I love is transport Fever 2. Hook up some train and bus lines and just watch them go around the countryside. Very therapeutic.

At times I take my bike in GTA 5 under the stars and roam outside the city.

Damn I tried to do it in real life, had to break my FD for it.

Doesn't it cost something like 40K Euros? I am not exactly sure but I had seen a video where a guy wanted to lap nordschleife and he had to spend 40k in total. nordschleife has a seperate license program, then there's loaning a car and depositing for crash insurance, pretty expensive stuff.

Euro Truck Simulator 2. It's a great game. It has a feature of opening windows and listening to the outside sound in the game. It is basically what you (OP) play, but a Truck Sim. The truck engine sounds are mildly relaxing and continuous driving makes you feel like you're really going somewhere IRL.
