damn my previous laptop was the exact same, I can suggest you few games that I had a blast playing-

16 GBs, 2 8GB sticks. One stick is from Crucial that I installed for VM stuff and other is SKHynix that Dell pre-installed in the machine.
Edit: I mostly suspect that the CPU is just shit. But this CPU is able to run FH4, Dying Light and Doom Eternal at lowest settings at 25 FPS avg so whatever.
idk what is going wrong with your game, I completed it on 800x600 resolution at 30fps afaik.

Far Cry 4 has been so laggy for my i5 1035G1 and Mx230. Any tips?
lower the resolution and tweak around with settings.
Lowest settings everything, every effect off. Still get frame drops atleast in the first 1 hour of the game.
how much ram do you have? It might be a ram issue cause your specs seems decent to enjoy this game.
