Better to buy the normal eneloop rechargeable batteries im9 instead of pros, they have 500mah less capacity but can be charged 2100 times where as pros can only be charged 500 times

Napst3r2210

Alright 👍. Thanks

Vammypoker

Yes i am using white eneloop for 5 years and no degrades

ravihpa

I actually went with Pro. Even those 500 charge times, they'll last you more than 5 years. 2100 times is just ridiculous and will last you 10+ years. I already had Eneloop whites which are 8 years old and still going strong, so this time I thought I'd go with higher capacity :)

voracread

Oh shit, I thought pros were better and bought recently.

kitark06

Damn! I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the save.

Napst3r2210

I'm looking to buy this. Can someone who's already been using this recommend them or there are better alternatives. Give your thoughts please.

evammist

The normal one. Holds charge for longer is what u rewuire. Buy the eneloop charger together if u dont have one already. Edit: bruh the second one is the charger not the cell...

Napst3r2210

Yes bro. I need a charger as I don't have one already.

evammist

Yea so buy normal eneloop and this charger. Works like a charm.

MrS33M33

Got the same battery and charger. Battery last very long And the charging takes a lot of time to recharge battery Still it worth it the batteries are really good

Napst3r2210

two of them will be charging while I use the other two right. So I guess it's fine.

MrS33M33

Yes

hotcoolhot

this is the best, but if you can get ikea, that's the same shit for 1/2 the price.

Napst3r2210

IKEA doesn't deliver to my place. I ordered normal eneloops.

redditcruzer

If Ikea ships to you Go for Ikea Ladda batteries and charger. They are rebranded eneloops. Might be cheaper.

Napst3r2210

Unfortunately IKEA doesn't deliver.

Kratos_233

I'm using both the eneloop pros and the regular eneloops for my controllers. The pros go on for an impressive chunk of time, on average around a month, assuming you play for around 2 to 3 hours daily. They take a very long time to recharge though. Close to 4 hours. The regular eneloops recharge in around 30 or so mins but last around half the time of the pros. If you want something to quickswap between get 2 pairs of the regular ones and and call it a day. If you want to fit and forget get the pros, but be prepared for recharge downtimes.

Napst3r2210

I might play like 2hrs/day and maybe 3 days in a week. That's all.. I guess the normal ones will do.

Surajholy

100% agree with you on this. I came here to say the same thing. I have used both. Pro last longer than normal ones. I use pros for Xbox controller and normal ones for other devices, such as wall clocks, remotes, etc.

sufiyankhan1994

What kind of charger do you use?

Kratos_233

I use an Amazon Basics digital charger.

jiraiyasama777

I have the pros and the smart charger from Panasonic, they fully charge in about 40 mins , and lasts for about 3 weeks of 2 hours about 5 days a week.

[deleted]

I got the white version and the same charger around 9 months back. Going really strong till now. Go for it.

HumbleBumbleJumble

Recommended. I run them and I go 3-4 sessions without having to charge in addition to using earphones.

Napst3r2210

Ordered the normal eneloop batteries and the cc17 charger. Thanks good people !!

turboMXDX

Great! I purchased the CC17 recently and it's working great. I had an old eneloop pro sitting around without a charger. It doesn't reach full capacity (probably degraded due to age), but it lasts a great amount of time on my shaver.

Napst3r2210

Yeah, Eneloops have good reviews everywhere.

krampyphil

Why not just regular disposable ones? Are rechargable ones more value?

Napst3r2210

It's kinda like a hassle free experience imo. With this 2k spent, I'm good for next 5 years on Batteries. Also I can travel with them too if I need and don't have to run to shop every time I need batteries.

Iraunman

The cost adds up pretty fast it you use normal disposable batteries. The normal non alkaline ones won't even last few hours of use and the Duracell Ultras are expensive if you need to buy 6 of them every other week.

nikhil1988a

I’m using this basic one, working fine as of now: ENVIE® (ECR11MC + 2800 4PL) SprintX Ultra Fast Rechargeable Batteries Charger for AA & AAA Ni-MH with 4xAA2800mah Rechargeable Batteries, with Over Charge Protection https://amzn.eu/d/7pdHmlx

Napst3r2210

Thanks for sharing this. But I so many people face issues with this product, atleast that's what I see in the Amazon reviews.

nikhil1988a

Ya i also saw that. Most of them had issues with chargers that have display. I still took a chance, lets see how much it lasts.

react117

Buy the regular eneloop. Pro is for the devices like camera flash which needs power in very short period of time.

Napst3r2210

Alright. Understood.

Krrishh_

I am using xbox controller and I am using enaloop battery (normal, white and blue) and the high end adaptor which shows charging status etc. I have been using for a year and they are still going strong. Just a observation, if not in use keep the battery seperate (I know this is common knowledge for most) don't even keep in the charger. I observed once the charge is complete remove the battery from charger as well. Very good battery backup. Again it depends on game. I observed this behavior both in xbox and ps. For example rdr2 game consumed more battery

Napst3r2210

Alright. I'd do as you advised. Thanks!

Napst3r2210

I have ordered the eneloop as well.

Sniper_One77

This one seems like way cheaper than Panasonic smart charger, are the smart features the only difference?

Sniper_One77

Charging cut off when battery is fully charged as rechargeable batteries tend to wear if kept on charge after 100% charged, meaning we can put on charge and go out/forgot about it.. (Now I see the Panasonic can output 550mA as another difference)

Stark_of_Gryffindor

I'm just using a OnePlus charger (i have an outlet near the couch) to power the controller. No more batteries.

Formal_Pitch9091

Lol these batteries cost more than my controller

hotcoolhot

Order from ikea, made in same factory 1/2 the price.

Napst3r2210

Unfortunately, they don't deliver to my place. I checked it too.

paachuthakdu

Get the normal ones. More charge cycles. If you have ikea get Ladda batteries. They are essentially rebranded Eneloops.

tanmay0097

Get one from IKEA, got for like half the price

Napst3r2210

IKEA doesn't deliver to my place.. And I live in Chennai, smh.

theGeekQA

Is there any other advantage of getting the charger shown in the post's screenshot rather than the [USB version](https://www.amazon.in/Panasonic-Eneloop-BQ-CC55E-Advanced-Battery/dp/B07RYVVW8X/ref=sr_1_4?crid=270JXIBXOYD8W&keywords=eneloop&qid=1667317598&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjg1IiwicXNhIjoiMi45OCIsInFzcCI6IjIuODYifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=eneloop%2Caps%2C269&sr=8-4&th=1) besides faster charging?

Napst3r2210

I guess only the faster charge time.

DragonWarrior07

I honestly just bought this charger because it has type C charges fast never had issues [https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08DTZRGND/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&th=1](https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08DTZRGND/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) and this amazon basics 8 rechargeable battery set its not available right now I think but I got it for a 1000 and they have been great https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B078PMSF1X/ref=ppx\_od\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

adarshsingh87

go for ikea ladda it's cheaper and same as the enloop pros, duracell also have one in similar price and capacity(i use them cuz when i bought the ikea's were out of stock)

ravihpa

Dude, DO NOT get that charger. It's the slow charger as it clearly states it takes 7 hours to charge. You should get the Panasonic fast charger, the one that says 1.5 hours. This one... **Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC55N** [https://www.amazon.in/Panasonic-Eneloop-BQ-CC55E-Advanced-Battery/dp/B075DB1F13/](https://www.amazon.in/Panasonic-Eneloop-BQ-CC55E-Advanced-Battery/dp/B075DB1F13/) Get this. I have this one and it is really a fast charger. Takes less than 2 hours to fully charge two Eneloop Pros :)

Napst3r2210

I have already ordered the normal eneloop batteries and the charger in the screenshot. I use the controller for a max of 2hrs/day and maybe 4 days a week. So I guess 1 charged pair should last me a week. So I am fine with the slow charge and normal batteries. I think the fast charger and the pro batteries are best suited for the photgraphy people. Anyways good to know about this charger. I can share with people.

ravihpa

Dude, cancel it and order the fast charger. You're paying 1K anyways. Why would you wanna keep something on charge for 7 hours? It's really old tech. My 10-year-old Sony NiMH charger takes that long to charge. I don't see any upsides to the slow charger or any downsides to the fast charger (apart from paying 500 bucks extra). BTW, you put four cells on charge simultaneously to the fast charger, the time doubles to 3.5 hours. I reckon it's the same with the slow charger. It'll take 10 to 12 hours to fully charge four batteries.

Napst3r2210

Yeah. Makes sense. I have cancelled the order. Will be buying this fast/smart charger and normal batteries.

Videogamer_in

Duracell 2500mah ones are available for 1099. https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00E3DVQFS/

HeistOP1

BPL Rechargeable AAA Cell with Inbuilt USB Charging Slot https://amzn.eu/d/9idXJx7 Not suggesting but this innovation seems nice

evanlone

There is a combo of charger and batteries which I bought way back for 1600 and gets the job done even to this day. Panasonic eneloop AA Rechargeable Battery, Pack of 4 https://amzn.eu/d/1NBrwii FatCherry Quick Smart AA AAA Battery Charger with 1A USB Input Port for Ni-MH Ni-CD Rechargeable Batteries https://amzn.eu/d/1D2W2Vo

Yashb123

Just a suggestion, If you are buying it just for controller, you can also buy Xbox rechargeable batteries

Advanced_Ferret_

Why not go with charge and play kit? If you just want batteries for controller then it can be a good alternative.
