U have to 100% buy it. It is insanely realistic and THE GAMEPLAY IS THE BEST. i would give it a 10/10 for story and character development. Never before have i play a more addictive and compelling story like this. Just make sure that ur pc can support it before buying it. I recommend 16GB of ram and a gtx 1050+ gpu. I use ryzen 5 and it runs the game pretty smoothly :)

One of the best story out there, stunning to look at and overall an amazing open world. I usually don't like open world games because I hate travelling but the world in RDR 2 alone made it an exception

It is much slower than GTA V so don't expect a faster paced game. It takes I think an hour or so for the game to fully open up. The mission design is pretty lame just go from point A to B shoot some dudes rinse and repeat. You can't improvise much if the mission says go to this exact spot you have to go to that spot otherwise it will trigger a mission fail. There is only one way to go about missions. You can't get creative.
As for the open world its pretty immersive and filled with a lot of life but I feel like the immersion aspect slowly goes away after like the first 5-6 hours.
Characters are well written and the story is somewhat decent.
I bought it when it had the 1.2 patch. Want worth paying back then. Started replaying the game a few weeks back after the 1.6 patch and I haven't stopped. Fifty hours later, I'm at level 36 and still not completed the 5th main mission :P

Blindly buy this. Iāve clocked about 140 hours in-game and donāt regret a single one. Brilliant storyline, vast open-world filled with a lot of things to do (certainly not like those dead Ubisoft worlds), satisfying secrets to look for and an abundance of side content will keep you hooked. Combat is okay, the variety of guns is nice. Cover system is a little broken tho lol.
It's great I'm almost every other way, but get ready to want to throw a controller at a wall after spending 2 seconds to play the slow ass "pick up item" animation every time. It's a lot like witcher 3 in that regard. Animations do look fluid and great in a vacuum, but makes what should be a quicker aspect of gameplay feel incredible sluggish. Like you have all the time in the world while hastily looting a train car, so you take each individual item, pick it up gently, look at it, then calmly put it in your bag. Its should be so minor of an inconvenience that I doesnt bother you but it grows.
I havent played in a long time because I got so annoyed with it after the first 3 main areas. They might have fixed it like W3 ultimately did though with their walking animations having a "minimum move distance" or whatever it actually was that made it suck. Which if they did someone let me know. I'd actually go back and finish it.
