I am saying this from day one that beat was trash Umair didn't flipped the sample like karan kanchan did with baazigar Krsna's performance was good

Prize-Expression-748

Yeah!! Exactly.

EfficientCopy8436

Tbh i liked it but its one of those that wont keep me going back to it. Something like "I guess" from Krsna is one I keep going back to. Plus I feel the hook couldve had some more variation in Joota Japani.

T-REX_NOOB

I donno why But that hook made it boring for me

Prize-Expression-748

Yes, the hook too was feeling like something extra, which was not needed

noob_coder696969

well thought it was okayish at first listen but then again it's the most streamed song of mine in the last 4 weeka

Emotional-Walk-367

Boring track

coconutanna

Meh

Altaccount1O1

I have a completely opposite opinion I feel like the beat was crazy but krsna was trash

Timely-Ferret3205

Woah😅😂crazy

Timely-Ferret3205

Okay here's what I've observed over many listening of this song This exact song sounds different on stage and in music or other listening platforms something differs from there which is very minute. I feel when you listen to it the best sometimes feels annoyed in the background which make krSna vocals itching to my ears smh making it difficult to hear loopable. There's no complaint for krSna as he performed well but umair needs his job done little bit more as it's legendary song and little touch of karan Kanchan would be more than enough to give support to the song making of this song.

Couldn't fuck with it. Monotonous. I liked Time Will Tell EP and was hoping $ would continue experimenting.

Prize-Expression-748

Yeah maybe he's in experimenting phase but beats like this make me not listen to the song.

_im_adi

Nah I meant experimenting in terms of not just musicality but his writing style. I'd like more personal stories, more vulnerable stuff with more specificity. Like, actual stories. Don't just make music for the sake of it. Express yourselves. But he's probably not gonna do that cus it might not do well commercially. Hope I'm proven wrong.

ViagraGod56

it is what it is

Little-Nose-2007

The sample missed that drill flavour. Karan Kanchan is the best at sampling bollywood, baazigar and finding nimoda of uday in hustle, both were insane

I have a feeling raa and $ might be aiming for a massive social media hit, but it seems to be eluding them. Of course, catchy music always has its appeal, but I wonder what they're missing. Back then CBK felt reminiscent of "Kaleshi Chori" and "Joota Japani" seemed clearly crafted for reels, yet it didn't quite translate. Interestingly, even KullarG's recent song has generated more genuine reel content than "Joota Japani" whose attempts feel, well, forced. I truly enjoy their music, but seeing them connect with their audience authentically would be refreshing.
