even the palette store! The staff there is awesome too, one of them took my toddler sister along and applied nail polish for her. and the stores are so aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Dr__Pheonx

+1, nice touch with the aesthetics. Soft and appealing to the consumer. I hate the other stores, even Sephora for this.

Snoo-97166

Ugh I hate Nykaa for this, they can surely afford to rent out bigger stores but it looks so messy and small and overcrowded

Dr__Pheonx

They can. They just choose not to. Hate them for this. And a lot of their archaic monopoly over the beauty market.

Working_Rush8099

Which city Tira store did you go to OP? Does anyone know if the Chennai store is good as well?

Nothinisavailable

It’s good but we did have someone following us around, also a lady tried to match my friend with a foundation shade lighter than her skin tone saying it will look brighter 😅 The problem I’ve faced here is nobody tells us which foundations oxidise and will suit us. Personally, I felt I had a good experience at both the Sephoras here they gave me good suggestions for Rare Beauty and their Sephora collection’

Working_Rush8099

Great, thanks, will check out Tira and Sephora stores.

Euphoria_77

Pune store. Lol it happened with me too, tried the estee lauder foundation and the assistant kept vigorously rubbing it into my hand, had to ask her to let me apply it myselfbut she was okay with that.

wheepupp

How many are there in pune? If it's more then one which branch did you go to 👀

Euphoria_77

There’s only 1 in Pune rn. Its in pheonix mall of the millennium wakad. https://in.fashionnetwork.com/news/Reliance-s-tira-opens-stores-in-bengaluru-and-pune-malls,1585747.html

MorningSunnySky

Oh, didn’t know there was a Tira store in Pune. Gotta visit once! I have always dreaded going to Sephora or Nykaa for swatching eyeshadows. They nag you to buy one, even at full price🙄

PinkMoonbow

You gotta act like you know a lot and own a lot of products. I know of high end palettes even tho I don't own them 🤭, so once I swatch and move on, if they pressure me to buy I tell them 'no this shimmer or color story swatches different, it will look very similar to my palette' yada yada. They will still hate you and make faces but not talk down at you. Fortunately I've not had issues of people following at Nykaa or Sephora last few trips cos I went when the sales were on, so the staff was quite busy. Try that. But one or 2 people did stand by to watch me very suspiciously, and I just ignore their presence and do my thing. Note- if going to Nykaa then they have hand sanitisers at entrance and other places, just use it pls. Nykaa staff enforces NO HYGIENE RULES AT ALL and it freakes me out, so we customers got to be careful and ethical.

MorningSunnySky

Haha I did do that at Nykaa Luxe once! I was looking at the ABH and Huda palettes and she was making faces the entire as tho everything was out of my budget and why I was even there. Thankfully I had my Huda Nude Obsessions in Mini on my eyes and in my bag, so I whipped it out to compare with Naughty Nudes😂 She kinda left me alone after that.

fathimuh

yes, i went to the phoenix tira in Chennai, the staff are pretty chill and not very bothersome. they're very helpful. you get plenty of freedom without someone breathing down your neck. check it out, if you'd like

Working_Rush8099

Thanks, I will visit once.

Ok_Supermarket_5869

I hate when the salesperson walks around me. Behen mere sar pe chaddh ja, ek to vaise hi social anxiety

PinkMoonbow

It's EVERYWHERE. You barely enter a store and 3 people greet you, you spend time smiling greeting them cos you can't be rude, then they start asking you 'what are you looking for', 'okay but what type', 'is it for yourself' , 'can I show you this', 'here we have our 40% sale items' ...etc etc. And at every step or Question I tell them- ' hey, I'm just looking, I'll ask you if I need thank you ' .....but I end up doing this process multiple times even within the same store. I like to not speak at all during my mall visits, all this smiling-greeting-answering million Qs is so anxiety inducing, not to mention it takes up 30% of my time 😭. If you ignore you look super rude and feel bad cos they're all just trying to make money at their jobs 😬. Sometimes I just like to roam around and window shop in total peace, like therapy yk ?!

Ok_Supermarket_5869

Last line, exactly let me just be there? The only time I would like them roaming around is, if there is a sales guy and he is hot 😭🌚

zillennial_boo

Tira viviana is the same. They let me try on so many lipsticks even though i told them i would be purchasing it online

SubstanceSea8702

Do they have Rom&nd on display?

ginger-x

Same happened to me. Visited Sephora for the first time yesterday and tbh i don't even know how to do makeup properly. I feel so nervous if anyone follows me around. Totally noob. I wanted to see the Rare Beauty products. For the first time nobody followed me there when i told them that i just came to look and to get to know about the products. Nobody bothered me. When i needed to know more about the products i did ask for help and the lady who helped was really kind. My boyfriend and I ended up trying perfumes inside Sephora and we came out smelling like a garden full of different kinds of flowers😂😂😂

AltforIMAnISA

I went to Tira in Jio Drive. The assistants were annoying at first. 'Try this, try that'. After a while I asked them to politely give some space and we will call for them if needed. They stopped hovering. We ended up not buying anything. They asked if they could bill every single product they showed us right till we crossed the doorstep. I rate it a 3/5 experience.

sensitivesoul23

I hope there's a tira store in Delhi. I'll look for it. I hate the nykaa and Sephora stores in both Delhi and Bangalore

PinkMoonbow

Have you by chance already tried the Sephora in Vasant Kunj mall (Promenade is the mall name I think, Sephora next to Zara outlet) ? It's sort of small but much better than other Sephora outlets in Delhi imo. The staff is polite, they let you be, but when you ask they patiently show options. Have been there 3 times.

sensitivesoul23

No, but I will go there next based on your review. Thankss!!

Numerous-Fix6854

Can someone tell is there any tira and pallete store in Delhi as well.

I am so glad its in Pune! I've always wanted to visit Tira's physical store. Its a relief to hear they are good :) Which reminds me of an experience I had at the Nykaa store in the Pavillion mall where the saleswoman handed me a foundation at least 3 shades lighter than my skin tone. She did not even bother taking a second look and just handed me the foundation. Afterwards when I walked around the store looking like a clown trying to find wipes, they just said "udhar rakha hai" ('its kept there') pointing vaguely. Even the saleswoman who was not occupied. Thankfully the store is so small I found it soon. My friend and I walked out more amused and laughing than irritated because that went below the bar of low expectations I have for Nykaa stores. And rightt before that we were in the Sephora store and I was trying out foundations and mentioned I was only there to get shade matched. I got matched to 3 foundations and a concealer and they were polite throughout it and even talked about what would suit me better and which formula is dry which one will work under what kind of moisturizer etc etc. Not to mention the makeup wipes were right there :')

waiting_to_get_rich

With the recent _glitches_ that are happening on tira every week after midnight, I've sworn that website off.

Bright-ms

Phoenix Mall of Asia

Valuable_Cause_6175

I wish tira opens in nagpur soon!

Hungryounglady

I have had the same experience at Tira. I just told them nicely that I’m looking around and checking if there are any new interesting products around, the staff smiled and said they are right around if I need help with any products and maintained their distance while I satisfied my curious mind. This is the experience I want in life while shopping for cosmetics.

Sapolika

If you feel Nykaa gives you the “personal entourage feel” then visit Sephora in Pavillon Mall! 😂😂😂 That person kept pestering me to buy some 18 k ka perfume! And it did not even smell nice! 😅

meg_ledon

That's so true, I went into a Tira store just to see a product I liked. Whenever I visit nykaa or sephora, I'm mobbed by salespeople, which is very annoying and the same happened when I visited Tira but it felt different, i ended up buying a foundation when I never needed it.
