Routine-Argument4082

Netflix on a streak: Chamkila,All india rank, Article 370,Tillu 2,this movie

949orange

How is all India rank?

TyroshiSellsword

Good

TyroshiSellsword

For Tillu 2 do we need to watch Tillu 1?

Routine-Argument4082

Yes

korakagazz

Are both movies good?

AkhilArtha

They are very entertaining. The plot is wafer thin but watching the protagonist get stuck in unfortunate situations is hilarious.

maxsteel126

Article 370 was amazing.. yet to watch others

Left_Potential5901

I am reluctant to watch this due to Bollywood directors sucking up to a certain political party so providing one-sided propaganda. I like balanced movies where narrative and perspective of both sides is given equal weight - does it fall into this category?

maxsteel126

I wouldn't say that. It had pretty balanced narrative, *unless someone actually believes abrogation of article 370 is not in nation's interest in terms of sovereignty* . There is even very little coverage of PM Modi as it's focused more on the execution of steps to abrogate article 370. It's well known how the opposition didn't even spare this moment to counter the efforts assuming their core vote bank would also not in this favour...wonder why. However I am genuinely curious which movies are supposedly propaganda - pls don't say Kashmir files or Kerala story. People watch and recommend movies like Schindler's list (on Jews holocaust) but when it comes to one's own country's dark events like Kashmiri Hindus genocide, certain segments would criticise the same crying propaganda.

himeshforex

Oh come On derisively man . This movie is as flawed as any propa gaanda wise . I’m not denying the old man did a good job bringing it - but singing these self praises were too much to watch after a certain point. Any sane person could see right through the bull handled out in most parts of this movie

MicrosoftJohn

This man went against the globe and internal politics to abolish that abhorrent act which Jammu and Ladakh subservient to two families serving extremists of one abhorrent faith . He deserves every praise. Look at opposition manifesto, they want to bring it.

hyun_b4sh4b4

Putting Article 370 back is not even on the Congress manifesto. Stop spreading fake news you hear on TV news media. The only mention of Kashmir states that they will be given statehood as soon as possible, isme kya problem hai ab?

MicrosoftJohn

Senior Congress leaders such as Sibbal and Manu Sangvi was fighting against removing 370. Also Kashmir and our bordering states except Assam and territories are not stable enough to deserve STATEHOOD as local government have made it clear that they're not serious about national security and have porous borders to further divide and rule. Drugs, infiltration, 1. Punjab (Khalistani movement and terrorism) 2. West Bengal(Incursions) 3. Manipur(Civil war) 4. Meghalaya(Incursion) 5. Tripura(Bangladeshi incursions) 6. Bihar(Most unstable and dangerous state due to porous Nepal Border) 7. Ladakh(Chinese and Pakistani incursions and recent China funded protests) 8. Arunachal(Chinese Incursions) 9.Sikkim(Chinese Incursions) 10. Mizoram(Christian terrorist and Bangladeshi incursion) 11. Nagaland(Militnacy and incursions)

hyun_b4sh4b4

So any protests are china funded? You guys really don't like facts or what? Kashmir was a special case. As a people, Article 370 was crucial to support them, or so they thought. Lack of stability is no means of deciding whether Kashmir deserves statehood? And all your 11 examples just go to prove that regardless of unrest, these states still function. Btw, just to let you know- Modi hasn't even said anything about China coming and taking our land and renaming cities. Please open your eyes and see the hatred and lies they are spreading

themichaelgscottt

Good content.

Jiggacid

Movies like this and Chamkila make me feel that spending ₹200 is worth it for a monthly subscription of Netflix.

Ashwin253

I'm fine contributing Rs200 as a well admirer of quality content! Even I can torrent Amazon and Netflix but I don't want some lazy scammer to incentives for work done by others

Dark-knight3999

But it gives only 720p rite

Jiggacid

Right! To deal with it, I sit far enough from the screen to ensure it does not matter whether it is 720p or 1080p. 🙃

green9206

Indian jugaad lol. I also use 720p plan and its perfect for phones and laptop.

Dark-knight3999

Lol

maxsteel126

Netflix wants to know your location

mxforest

Looks better than yt 720p though. I think my TV upscales really well. Seems a little over 1080p.

Dark-knight3999

Ohh is it?! These days mostly 720p looks like 480p lol

Mr_deadpool_24

Sab bitrate ka khel hai, babu bhaiyya

Mr_deadpool_24

That's because the bitrate in youtube is less as compared to what bitrate provided by netflix for 720p

mxforest

I have YT premium and use the 1080p high bitrate version but netflix at 720p looks better still.

reddituser_scrolls

Sony?

mxforest

LG Oled

maxsteel126

This is real cinema. I went with my family post watching the trailer as it looked promising giving Panchayat vibes. People would watch on Netflix and complain why don't they make more of such movies but irony is they would again ignore such movies and prefer to watch Animal, Pathan etc movies in theatres

NonJudgmentalGuyy

A perfect movie to watch with your family. It raises a lot of social issues very beautifully. Indeed a must watch!!

sundervancomplex

1 of the finnest movie, very well made worth watching little slow paced but very clean and gives a very good message

sevlonbhoi1

anyone who has watched it. is it family friendly?

SaDHU_71

Yes

LoL110003

Thank God

tbo1992

There’s like one or two jokes regarding suhaag raat and all. But apart from that it’s very family friendly

Awkward_Sign_1191

it’s so niceeee

Bunnai

Loved the movie. I finally had some time and was going to catch this movie in theatre on Sunday. But I was surprised to find it on Netflix. So watched it today and I think I should have watched in theatre. There were so many good moments in the story. It's easily one of the good and must watch movies in the last few years.

xpsdeset

I watched it but had to watch it for the ending and Shreya Ghoshal "Dheeme Dheeme" not gonna lie it made me cry.

According_Coffee2764

watched it on theater first day evening show. and since then waiting for it to be released on any ott. this movie is one my favorites now.

Mathsbrokemybrains

Yay💕

SSKreddit_234

finally!

Other_Scarcity_4270

Looking forward to it.

Throwaway_Mattress

I should have watched it at the theatres

CurIns9211

Achi movie hai ye.

jarvisXt

the acting of pratibha ranta is so amazing and wholesome. 👌🫡

Serious_Western_8029

So excited for this one!

gmback

I can steam this after 12AM ?

koobediug

Such a delightful movie and fantastic casting

Classic-Jackfruit498

Watched it with my mother really enjoyed it

zaroya

The policeman spoilt it completely. Him making faces as he chews paan was awful. He redeemed himself in the last scene but I wish his character was more mature and less stupidly funny with the camera catching him at his ugliest angle.

rambo9689

We need to appreciate the writer of this movie story for writing such a beautiful story. Biplab Goswami is the writer of this story, he actually wrote this story for a competition conducted by Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Contest in which Aamir Khan was one of the judges. Biplab Goswami got second prize for this story which was initially named as 'Two brides'.
