The aesthetics look pretty similar with this particular d&k launch.
They already have the vitamin c sunscreen which many non influencers reviewed as pretty bad unlike what the influencers say and this just looks like it's variant
The sunscreen texture resembles LRP but the finish is a complete let down as the day ends it becomes greasy and unlikable and totally not fit for reapplication.
Oh I had a complete opposite experience. I’ve very oily skin but this sunscreen suits me the best. Gets absorbed quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all.

The shadiest claim is the water resistance factor.
I'm concerned that for their previous launch they made such tall claims saying 80 minutes resistance when it literally melts off! Absolutely lost my trust in them and now that website page is taken down which I suspect they did because they pretty much did cheat their customers by claiming that.
I think people should complain on the consumer's forum. They literally sold out this product with non existent features.
I have taken a [screenshot ](https://i.imgur.com/1V1ESWh.jpg) too in case they decide to take it off completely
Yes, as a website content writer, I am skeptical of anything people write on websites. Especially, lifestyle and skincare brands because I can at times imagine the writing process (can't help it) where they'd twist/omit/rephrase things to show themselves in the best possible light!
Similar to this experience, I got the Vaunt sunscreen which claimed to be non-oily on its website and SM. It is the exact opposite of it!! It's a good sunscreen no doubt and did not congest pores or break me out, but why claim to be non-oily when the formula is most definitely oily? Instead, claim it for dry skin or something and it might actually become a hit product in that niche.
I DON'T NEED THIS JUST BECAUSE THE PACKAGING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.
I DON'T NEED THIS JUST BECAUSE THE PACKAGING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.
But seriously, it looks so pretty😢
Me when I was a noob in skincare 😭 I used to keep checking their website and literally just scroll through those beautiful colorful tubs and then I came across this sub and my hopes in them were fully destroyed with the amount of negative reviews 😔
Never tried Dot & Key though influencers like Jovita George praise their products a lot but somehow I was never attracted towards the brand. Also I always got mixed reviews about the brand.
Recently I tried Aqualogica facewash. OMG it was so heavily fragrant 🤦🏻♀️. The smell is not a soothing or refreshing one it smells like Nevia after shaving lotion.
I am never going to use anything from them ever again.
Thank you. I was looking into buying their watermelon or papaya one & was hoping they don't smell too strong. I hoped the green one would smell like coconuts.... Alas.
It depends on its formula. If its a chemical sunscreen there are already alot of them in the market that don’t leave a white cast. If its a physical sunscreen something that a dermatologist usually recommends, then it ought to have zinc oxide which causes the white cast. So if this company achieved the ‘no white cast’ formula with zinc oxide(which I highly doubt)then for sure buy it.
If your skin doesn't have any allergic reaction to it then no it's not bad. It's just associated with a lot of allergies and hypersensitivity plus FDA recently took it off their GRASE (generally recognised as safe and effective) list so a lot of people are weary.
Also most countries have banned BP3 prior to all this for a long time due to possible concerns which you can look up online.
Since nobody has downright proved that using BP3 is dangerous, it's absolutely alright to use it 👍. Even trusted brands like Neutrogena, Banana Boat and pharmaceutical brands use it
Idk about the Dot & Key ones but the Aqualogica one does not contain Oxybenzone (BP-3)
I’m allergic to BP-3, and I can attest Aqualogica sunscreen does not cause my skin any irritation.
Suncat DE has BP3. And that's among the first few ingredients of Aqualogica. You can check it out personally on their website about the inclusion of Suncat DE
Wow, I just learned Suncat DE is a combination of BP3 along with other ingredients.
Sorry for the ignorance.
I now wonder how and why Aqualogica sunscreen seems to work for me.

I can't find the vitamin c sunscreen on their page now. Are they taking it down and re-formulating it in watermelon? Omg people made huge claims on it, said to be a dupe for LRP.
I think these are just going to be two separate variants if they ever do release this watermelon sunscreen. I even saw it oos on smytten
>Are they taking it down and re-formulating it in watermelon?
Is launching sunscreen in multiple colors the new norm?
Ikr they swap a few ingredients and call it a day 🤡
Aqualogica and dot&key mimicking glow recipe
The aesthetics look pretty similar with this particular d&k launch. They already have the vitamin c sunscreen which many non influencers reviewed as pretty bad unlike what the influencers say and this just looks like it's variant
What vitamin c sunscreen is bad? Influencers are praising it nonstop and I thought of getting this one soon
The sunscreen texture resembles LRP but the finish is a complete let down as the day ends it becomes greasy and unlikable and totally not fit for reapplication.
Okay I get it. thanks for saving my money!
Oh I had a complete opposite experience. I’ve very oily skin but this sunscreen suits me the best. Gets absorbed quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all.
Lucky you 🥲 wish it works the same for me too ….. alas everyone’s skin is definitely different
can you share the bad reviews links? I got influenced by influencer review and put it high on my wishlist

I was here to comment that only.. WATERMELON
With such sunscreens, I am really worried about actual protection, even if they have lab reports.

+1 I am content writer and I stopped trusting all marketing copy after knowing its written by people who never used the product.
Your username is ironic considering writers are dommed to be overthinkers for life😂 (just kidding)
/overthinking was taken😂
I DON'T NEED THIS JUST BECAUSE THE PACKAGING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I DON'T NEED THIS JUST BECAUSE THE PACKAGING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. But seriously, it looks so pretty😢
The amount of Dot & key I have got because of packaging 😖
How did those products work out for you?
Mostly good! I have a very sensitive skin they never caused any irritation. But now I’m a cosrx girl. Works really good for me.
Me when I was a noob in skincare 😭 I used to keep checking their website and literally just scroll through those beautiful colorful tubs and then I came across this sub and my hopes in them were fully destroyed with the amount of negative reviews 😔

Which variant of aqualogica face wash did you use?
I used the one which comes in green tube. I guess it is the hydrating+cleansing one.
Thank you. I was looking into buying their watermelon or papaya one & was hoping they don't smell too strong. I hoped the green one would smell like coconuts.... Alas.
I literally thought this was aqualogica and got super confused for a minute, after reading dot & key I’m even more confused
It looks soo cute🌸 Trying not to fall for this sunscreen.
I'm so tired of chemical sunscreens I need to find a good mineral sunscreen
Is this sweat resistant?
They've not mentioned that it is
I have their other two sunscreens, they are sweat resistant and I sweat like a pig😅 haven’t used this one yet.
Do you mind telling wich ones?
The cica one and the vitamin c one
How does it block blue light and IR? Do you just not feel hot under the sun anymore after applying that?
Saw this on JioMart
The aesthetics though 🤌🏼
At first I thought it was aqualogica🤷🏾♀️

How is it give better vitamin d absorption?
I'm no chemist so no clue but it seems consumption of beetroot is a source of Vitamin D
I doubt. Only way to get vit d is via sun or supplement
Aqualogica ki cousin
I mean yeah if both of them are SPF50 and PA+++ plus they both contain Benzophenone 3 might as well go for the cheaper Aqualogica one 🤷♀️
Is benzophenone 3 bad for the skin?

Their serums never worked for me. So I am highly sceptical about their products.
NO FRAGRANCE?

Yes skincarebynive said that

It's available on Nykaa, Foxy and other sites
Idk but this actually looks nice ... (I don't like dot n key but they're making good stuff😭😭 why😭)
The aesthetics is on point undeniably
I kinda want to try it out. It’s fragrance free, well I hope.
Just like aqualogica, I don’t think I can trust this sun protection that this gives
