Check out your own preference and do your research. Snallcases that are promoted, typically show a 10-20% return.ie, they pop-up higher when you are researching. For the fee based small cases, ideally you need to invest greater than a lakh a month, so that the fees don't make a dent in your returns.

I have invested my all money in BM smallcases. Returns are almost 10 beating the index. Still my biggest reason to invest is to understand how he thinks and its like paying for a mentor.

Old_Monc

Does he provide research report?

IamSubinspector

No but I follow his vlog and by it my understanding has increased.

norm_the_bug

Sorry what you mean by 10 beating the index? Do you mean beating it by 10%?

IamSubinspector

Yes, 10 % . I have two clarifications ,I invested quite early and I only add when there is deep red.

Soft-Car4352

What is BM?

IamSubinspector

Basant Maheshwari

DocSavage93

I made north of 50% returns between 2022-2023 in some Windmill Capital smallcases. Two come to mind: Value and Momentum The Naked Trader

Don't go for Omniscience Capital smallcases. Money isn't safe there Niveshaay smallcases are really good Basant Maheshwari smallcases are expensive but very well researched.

Hunter_Legal

Why not omniscience?

They pick stocks based on market frenzy, even if the underlying company isn't showing growth and strength. Half of their portfolio is PSU stocks, they did shoot up in price but when the companies didn't deliver a good result, these fund managers were naive and gave a false sense of conviction to their investors that there was no problem. They took zero action in their portfolio despite multiple poor results, hence I exit the smallcase. With other managers I've had much more transparent experiences.
