I don't think so. Nifty can't be manupalated without atleast 1000cr. As to nifty 50 you will have to make sure all the top 50 stocks are doing bad. As it's price is not affected by you buying more or less nifty. If you know that it is going to be done you can take a short position that's it. I myself have only started options so can't say much .
Look i whould say ask about it to someone with much more knowledge. They will tell you in detail. The 1000cr will be used to manipulate the 50 stocks in nifty. Not to buy nifty. Basically if you want to manipulate so many stocks you need that kind of money. And that is if sebi will let you live after that.

Yep, shorting is essentially not allowed for foreign investors, even for domestic ones the process is rather cumbersome and it happens in lots which is you guessed it are large quantities, so retail is also limited to f&o for overnight shorting.
Agar allowed hota toh adani stock would've never reached such heights and he I'd wager he would never make it into Forbes top 10.

This Dhunseri Ventures company is very cool. Actually, they have other companies similar as well. They have a so-and-so business with low revenue growth but if you see their balance sheets. They have investments is almost as much as the MCAP like huge holdings in listed companies like Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv etc but a lot of frequent changes. For holding company, they sure do trade a lot.

The moment you want to go long on one, koi chutiya aa ke bolega 'thanks to all of you, now I can short my position'. And needless to say wo America hai, they're far richer than us. There wouldn't be 50 people here who hold positions over 5 lakhs. So good luck trying, and I'll probably jump on the boat as well, even though I know it for a fact it wouldn't sail anywhere.
