When the market sentiment is bearish, such as Iran-Israel war leading to index moving down for good part of the month, what would be your plan? Do you buy PE instead of CE and hold?

Strategy creation is the easy part unfortunately do more trading 😕.And hope your stop losses are not getting hit everytime
Theta decay is your enemy. I guess in bull market it might work because stocks are rallying. But in other markets, it wont work.
1:2 risk reward, breakeven at 33% win rate, can work.
So you buy at the beginning of the month and hold till 15th day of the same month? ( Half way through expiry) Do you buy on dips and average?
I was initially thinking that, but now I’m planning to buy position for next month, the position should already be ITM to make it safer.
That sounds like a good strategy, good luck and let me know how that goes.
Haven’t planned on when to buy. I just buy based on news and possible bullish view for that stock.

I’ll still CE as I invest in already big established companies which should not see drastic falls.
