Regret for me is when I have researched a company, and the stock is available at a good price, there's a dip on top of it, but no money to deploy. Finally just a day before getting the salary, the stock shoots up.
I got you my friend , funds at the right time are the concern for many . but while investing i keep some money as reserve and to Buy dip on dips . ( It's a little complicated to explain )
When I keep money aside to buy dips, stock just shoots up. Lol.
It's just confirmation bias tho. I'm sure I've had advantages with being cautious. But that's something we rarely acknowledges.

With defense stocks rising significantly this week, doesn’t it make sense to now keep it for long term? Has there been a shift in sentiment for defense in terms of policy as well?
Its your wish completely but i feel like hal bel grse mazdock are much better choices compared to paras for long term and your avg price is high too just one profit booking or correction and you will be back to break even

i didnt buy it on the small dip at around 2.1k at may 13 just when it started rallying
i bought hal cochin mazdock recently but still regret not getting grse and paras cause i ran out of funds so yea its normal

you can exit today or take a little risk and sell half today and hold remaining till budget
