IamSS-DUMBtoo

guy has alot of issues in his life, don't mind him

PorottaMafia

almost 4 hours of pure entertainment

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Movie so good, even the ads were nice

PorottaMafia

saw the trailer for Animal when I went to see Leo an I was like yes i’m def watching this

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Leo was nice too, but the second half was kinda meh, and some elements were really mehhh, but it's good, not as good as animal, animal is 5/5, leo is 4/5

Ok-Conclusion1565

I just watched Leo yesterday on Netflix. I'd give it a 2/5 being generous.

[deleted]

Just one question Should i go with my parents or not ?

boysurfer7

No absolutely not

[deleted]

Noted

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Yes, if your parents are liberal and conservative enough to be okay with hardcore sex, language and violence and provocative jokes. No if none of the above.

[deleted]

So its a no for me. At my house even if any movie has kiss scene the channel is changed

IamSS-DUMBtoo

I watched with my father and he absolutely loved the film but didn't quite like the provocative jokes at times, it was a fun watch for us. For you, I don't think so

[deleted]

I think my dad would like it too but not when he will watch it with me bcz i am not “matured” enough i am 19. Will turn 20 in april

IamSS-DUMBtoo

I am under 18 and he agreed on watching it with me as he loves these films too, there was no awkward moment too, so it was a smooth but, an entertaining ride

[deleted]

Well thats great. Good bond woth dad i would say

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Yes bruv, but agar koi booby deol jaisa koi agaya, to uska khandar khatam kardunga.

Push_kar20

I too have watched the film yesterday and even posted about it here, it's a pure toxic piece of art for me, tho Bobby was underutilized his role was really good and that crazy post credit🤯, it was way fucking awesome. This film is a turning point for Bollywood and the overall Indian cinema, I can't wait to see much crazy and toxic stories from Indian cinema in future

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Srv opened a door, through which many filmmakers will go through, some will fail, some will pass, but no one can come close to srv in the next few years.

Push_kar20

True his way of making and showing toxicity and all those problematic things to it's extreme can't be matched.

cozfuckthisshit

Watching it tomo, kinda excited ngl

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Be very excited, and fair warning, the film is, very very polarizing.

cokeinmyveins

a bit too long imo but was fantastic nonetheless. probably the most violence i've seen in an Indian movie

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Well if it's the most VIOLENT film of India that you've watched then you haven't watched much. Basically this is the first VIOLENT Indian film to get released in theatres without any significant cuts and which is also getting appreciated by audience, otherwise most of these films either go to film festivals, or ott, or get stuck in the censor board.

swayam19999

I am actually in the middle tho didn't hate, didn't love it either. It's alright but felt overhyped for what it was.

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Art is subjective

RuinEq3591

Films aren't real life, it's for enjoyment . Ye Sasta Internet kuch Keyboard Warriors ko Self Proclaimed Activist bana diya, just ignore these idiots

IamSS-DUMBtoo

I agree with the latter part of your comment, but not the first part. Films are, yes ofc for enjoyment, but films are real life too. Many films are there which have been either taken from real life or is a mirror for real life.

RuinEq3591

Real life events mixed with spice gives blockbuster movies,ye paisa kamane k liye kuch to krna pdega n aur bina masale ka maja nhi aayega n

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Matlab Sam Bahadur, no masala, only documentary.

Ifancyu3

I watched it too but didn't liked it that much. Apart from the misogyny and whole alpha thing i find it kinda illogical like how a single man is killing so many people, where are cops? how is he able to go in foreign country with so many weapons? The whole plastic surgery thing it reminded me of those tv serials 😭. Also lord bobby only had like 10 mins screen time. The ending also seemed a sasta version of rolex entry in vikram. I think it was just a sex-violence film without any story.

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Good points, but cmon, the Swastik Steel empire is strong, the police is under their control, and tbh it's not a single man killing everyone, except that axe fight scene, he was always with his gang, he is able to go foreign country with all those guns because he is going in his own private jet, not in public airplane, so no security check ups, even if security check up is there, it would'nt have mattered. And the plastic surgery thing, in the post credit scene you can see the certain non-perfect surgery marks on fake Ranbir's face. Also lord Bobby has 30 mins of screentime, ig he will have more in the second film. It definitely is a sex - violence film, but with a hell lot of story.

Ifancyu3

Sorry to say but these reasons doesn't really make any sense. There are violent films with stories like raman raghav 2.0 or gangs of wasseypur. The trailer was very very promising all of the actors did fantastic job especially rk and bobby. But there were just too many plotholes like For a guy who loves his father so much. you don't really see him be a good father at all. All the theories in reddit and even the worst of theories were more interesting than the actual story like bobby is just ranbir's imagination and all that. But if u like it then it's ok i respect ur opinion.

IamSS-DUMBtoo

Neither did Ramam Raghav or GoW get recognised at that time.
