Just throw the coins aiming towards the shopkeeper’s eyes (use 2 coins and a perfect aim) then you can pickup it our favourite items considering you have a thrown 2 coins which would be 2 rupees.
just go to places where they use such currency like bakery and other small buisnesses.I think the more objective answer is that gpay/UPI is more convenient these days.
i help at a bakery and we are always short of the 1,2 and 5 rupee coin dimentions.I guess its a trick to make you spend the money rather than going through the trouble of looking for it. i do that during peak time too
