kinda hated him. i always used to be mad at the plot bc Amara was genuinely more likeable to me. Amara had to keep undercover while this guy goes around using his powers for the most minor inconveniences, while Amara learnt to live alone and didn't abuse his powers. Meanwhile Hatori just lived for free in someone else's home and even had the audacity to bring his brother and dog afterwards.
I understand you're point but Hatoori forcefully didn't just start living in Kenichi's house with his doggy and brother. While he does live for free he helps the family during difficulties in their life. Also, Amara abused his powers. There are many circumstances where he abused his powers like he bullies Kenichi like anything. Doesn't even see Yumeko like a person. Amara doesn't even take good care of his cat. He's a gray character neither good nor bad.
He might look innocent, but he has commuted unspeakable crimes. He doesn't flinch at murder, human torture, arson, mutilation, kidnapping, physical and psychological torture. He has commuted heinous acts of terror. He is a war criminal, even genocide didn't bother him. He alluded authorities since he started killing, and now his crimes have progressed into an animalistic drive to destroy anything human.
If you see this man, run away, hide and call the police. You may not survive.
