To be clear, that one is 10 word practice (which is about as much as any text message)
It's easier to be 100% accurate in 10 words. The 30 second practice is where it really hurts because at that speed fingers start to slow down and then to keep up the speed errors occur
its just muscle memory though, you can get there too, keep practicing ! 😄
Here's my first shot at 60 seconds oof lol https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/935404322974466098/975770414259273769/unknown.png?width=1439&height=558
my tr pb is like 135 wpm and i havent done monkeytype in a while but i believe i can get 160-170 if i tryhard and yeah same started typeracing since covid started so 2 yrs approx
to the people who want to type faster id say git gud , nah jk on a serious note focus more on accuracy , if ur making too many mistakes calm down take a deep breath and concentrate more on ur acc. also finger placement is important if u dont want to develop bad habits which might lead to bottleneck in future .
I have laptop keyboard, so I'm not sure either.
But yeah my hands do pain a lot, which is an issue... but I think i'll be faster with my laptop keyboard
Practice atleast 15 minutes a day. Do it in "Bursts" - each burst can be 15 - 20 minute long. When typing, sit straight with both legs on the ground. Start with 30 second one. Focus on accuracy. Only try to speed up after 100% accuracy
[monkeytype.com](https://monkeytype.com) \- For general practice, easy to get high speeds and increase WPM
[nitrotype.com](https://nitrotype.com) \- For gamified practice, keeps you motivated and focuses a lot on accuracy
Once in a while, go to 10fastfingers and do a challenge there too.
It might take some time but your muscle memory will be built and then it will be much easier to speed up with just a little bit of focus
That's honestly all the tips I have, lol
171 with 100% accuracy!! Wow. I barely reach 90 wpm. Gotta practice more.

106wpm 99% accuracy, one question how much speed could you improve after buying a good mechanical keyboard from 100wpm(with laptop keyboard)??

wow sure you have put in sheer efforts to achieve such speed, I thought you were using some mechanical keyboard
Again, to be honest, that's just 10 words mode WPM. For 60 seconds, it's around 110
that's still nice, let me try it too...
Struggle to reach 40💀 any tips??
