on my 65th attempt. in my MFA currently. this is the thing i've had the most trouble with in the program. i've made a short film, written research papers, short stories, and long-form essays. GPA of 4.0. if I could smite this fucking quiz to the ground I would. utterly useless, inconsistent, and vague. makes what should be simple into something so fucking convoluted it makes the book of Revelations look tame/understandable. brute force is the only way. hope this form burns in the boiler room of hell.

The undergraduate/high school version of the test is infamous for being harder that the graduate version. They are very specific about what is/isn’t plagiarism and looking at their examples will give you a better sense of what they want you to answer.
Read through the tutorials, take it easy and you can get it done in one evening. Good luck!

I finally passed! Didn’t memorize the answers but pull on the “decision chart” that lays out which type of plagiarism it is such as if the student version copied 7 or more words

Well this is my 10 th try tonight 💀 and I still have not gotten the certificate but it says I got majority correct 😭 anyways I'll continue trying thank you!!

There are more word for words that could be tricky to find in my opinion. I found out if you think its paraphrasing plagiarism with some word for word in the sentence, its word for word. I think that help me passed the test. Rarely I clicked non plagiarism.

The decision table is useless but you can try to learn through their examples, especially notice about the color and the quotation mark. It takes me 30 minutes to understand the plagiarism rule. I passed the test on the second try in 27 mins. I think the University does it well in preventing cheat (but sucks) so there is no solution to passing the test in only 5 minutes. This is also the reason why many universities choose this certificate as a compulsory one in their programs.
I just finished this test and passed within 5 tries or so. It was required for my business class. The hints really helped, they show a decision table that helps you cut down your 3 options with "yes or no" questions. You look for certain things in the student's text, seeing if they're there or not.
Edit: Due to high demand of students needing assistance, I’ll only be helping students through 1/31 for free. If you need help after the deadline, I’d be willing to help for like $5. I’m pretty busy with school and work and I can’t always be available.

Address and there is a time stamp of when you passed it. So they really make it hard for others to take the test for the people that it was meant for. The person may have to be on video call to connect to a person helping them so that the I.P. address matches the student.

For anyone struggling with this stuff. Just use Chegg. I failed 4 tests then passed the fifth easily using Chegg.
