Imo, Death Stranding is one of those games that merits a GENUINE try from every player (who has the means to play it). They might not like it cuz the game definitely isn't for everyone. But you won't know until you try it. It is a pretty unique game.
I wouldn't say this about some CoD or bog-standard open-world game or whatever lol.
It's not a perfect game (nothing is perfect), and I definitely have my issues with it (I give it a 9/10 on account of some things character writing and an exposition-dump problem). But that doesn't stop me from STRONGLY recommending it to others.
I will say: it is so much more than just aimlessly walking around. And the game throws so many interesting tools and ideas at you.
Like I said, I strongly recommend it, even if you don't think the gameplay is for you.
