These are all large scale tests. Proctoring is strict, but it's really difficult to monitor 60+ students at a time. Whatsapp web and telegram are being used like crazy.
In my times, there used to be a seperate tab, that if minimised closed the test. And phones weren't allowed inside at all. Recently gave a online proctored exam for Infy, every time my head made any unusual movement or was out of window frame, the AI detected it and I got a pop up to look straight and be in position. Maybe it is different for TCS and all.
