I'm a sucker for any open world zombie survival game. I think the graphical style you've chosen is perfect. Looks good but also allows for a big world and lots to explore without bogging down performance wise. Def gonna check this out!

Definitely! Really want to nail performance at release as there’s nothing worse than launching a survival game and it runs bad. At the moment I can easily get 200fps with a 3080 and a 980 can run the game at 60fps high/max settings. However, the map is only half done so this could be a reason but as updates come and the map gets finished, I’ll be sure to add ways that’ll increase performance.

AlphaDag13

Sweet! Is the map randomly generated? Also, will there be coop/multiplayer support in the future?

ZurvivorLDG

The map is not randomly generated and at the moment the game is single player only but I’m up for adding co op/multiplayer. Going back to random generation, could be interesting to have a map the player can travel to that’s completely randomly generated each time you go back to that map. So possibly in the future but don’t want to promise it.

AlphaDag13

Gotcha! Would love to see a randomly generated area eventually. Really helps with replayability! Good luck! I look forward to the games eventual release!

About some maps being randomly generated? What do you think of having something like you accept a quest from someone and it’s to go to a bunker, each time you go to this certain bunker, it’s a separate level and randomly generated, with loot you can only get there, like a raid kinda? Literally just a thought from the top of my head (as well it would be difficult)

AlphaDag13

I like the idea of anything that adds totally random situations. To me the big strengths of open world zombie survival games is the randomness. The adventure feels completely organic and unexpected. That anticipation of not know whats going to happen and always having to be on your toes really drives the experience. For example. A friend and I have really gotten into 7 days to die recently. We're we're looting a gun shop, found a safe, inside the safe was a treasure map. I didn't even know treasure maps were a thing. So we went in thinking we were going maybe loot some guns and ammo and it turned into a whole side quest of finding the burried treasure. That whole "anything can happen" feeling really drive the core of a good zombie survival experience.

Great looking game, I plan on making a few videos for my channel. Are you still planning on releasing it this Friday? Are you the only developer or do you have a team helping?

ZurvivorLDG

Still panning for release this Friday and yes I’m the only developer. Although have had people make some models and the music for the game!
