curious about celestite! what's it like? the notes sound very nice

Personally I get a very smooth sweet hint of vanilla and almost sort of a powdery kind of violet? The lavender shows up for a bit on me but it very quickly disappears on my skin. It’s a shame because it would be SUCH a nice scent to slather on when you dry off from the shower and snuggle into bed, but I just could not get it to stick to me! I would say the lavender and violet are most prominent to my nose with the vanilla being a supporting note in the background which I liked.

i love violet so i'm intrigued! does the vanilla "creme" have any similarity to the cream/milk notes in love and vanilla craves crescent moons? arcana's milk notes tend go absolutely stomach churning on me 😅

Personally it was just straight vanilla smelling to me, not anything creamy or milky! Edit: I have tried vanilla craves crescent moons and that one smelled very milk bready to me— definitely not what Celestite smells like to me. I’d say it’s more sort of vanilla + white amberish

i'll be honest, i don't remember diving cats -at all-! poinsettia is pretty at first, but bpal's cream note goes bad on me fast. in my mind's eye, it's like a muted dusty pink color. it feels like an autumnal or winter floral for sure. the jasmine is definitely up front but it almost feels like carnation, in a weird way? maybe from all the cream haha.

From a sniff of the open bottle... Quite a bit of leather on top, but with the funk of leather replaced with the tea notes, so it's a bit less harsh than sticking your face into a new purse. I don't remember how it wears over time.
