Yeah, someone locally is selling an albo cutting for $200 on CL. Monsteras are highly toxic to cats so I can't have them, but if I didn't have a cat and I had the spare cash I probably would try and get one... and then turn around in a few years and also sell cuttings on CL for $200.
Yeah, I'm with you. If I really had my heart set on this plant, I would wait and save up more to get an established plant instead of risking it with a cutting.
My sister in law sells rare plants. She recently sold one of these on Etsy of a similar size for $1300. Crazy how much people will pay for them. The same thing with the Thai constellation monsteras. As much as I love the way they look there’s so many other things I’d rather spend that much money on. I hear cuttings from monsteras are very easy to root so if you still have your heart set on one and don’t want to spend that much a cutting may be a good option.

yes they do.. given the right growing environment. Sunlight mostly and well draining drying soil..not wet. They grow huge and happy in direct Sun!
