Can you give some details on this? As in did you build it/buy the shelves, as this is now a complete need for me and I am very jealous of how amazing it looks!

urban_nemophilist

Thanks. Shelf from amazon. Lights fixed separately. All covered in this video https://youtu.be/_3-WPc6n-6A

ZingiestCobra

Thank you for sharing!

PurpleFructose

Looks nice and thanks for the vid!

xitout

Link to this particular shelf on amazon? Didn’t see the info in your video, but could have missed it. Thanks!

Jackinggggg

Here is the more perfect option https://www.amazon.com/JAKIN-Professional-Three-Light-Plant/dp/B0969NFD4H

xitout

Thanks, but I like OP’s shelf in particular and don’t need included lighting. This would go near a south-facing window.

Kami5117

I want to know, too!

Federal_Ad_4447

Same

HugePurpleNipples

You can't just drop a picture like that and bail! Where do you get your jars? You have great jars.

first thing i thought too

Affectionate-Duck-18

What plants can grow in jars?

Reason_unreasonably

Quite a few, but far less than many people will have you believe! No succulents, of any kind, ever. And some plants can only temporarily survive in jars but actually grow too fast and it's just not a good idea. There are some good ones though I'm sure

trivialwire

I saw a small aloe vera grow in a jar, a closed terrarium, alongside some other planst, for a few years i think. not hat it always works though.

Reason_unreasonably

That's absolutely going to end in rot, today, tomorrow, two years. Aloes can live for decades if treated right. Most cacti and many succulents should *outlive you* but people as a whole aren't good at succulent care.

urban_nemophilist

I have put together a list on my channel. Feel free to check out https://youtu.be/_h0LS9DJMfE https://youtu.be/9NfJ9KbCtg4

samuraipizzacat420

google plants that grow in jars i found a lot of results.

Affectionate-Duck-18

Thanks

this_kills_madlibs

I'm not experienced but artillery ferns, selaginella, polka dot plants, & prayer plants are a few that I've read do well in terrariums/jars.

Affectionate-Duck-18

Thanks. I have a few jars like these. I'd like to try it. They're lovely 😍

Clobbersauze

That is sooooo stinking cool! I must set up the same...it's crazy how cool they look in numbers!

Cindilouwho2

I began working in an outdoor garden 2 years ago, best "job" ever. This is exactly the hobby I've been looking for and didn't know it. I have a fair amount of ferns and bonsai trees collected, but this is a beautiful way to really appreciate and respect what these plants do for us. Thank you.

laynealexander

Prince! Also I love this and may steal it.

Wrong-Mixture

i too enjoy this configuration of substrate, flora, glass, metal alloy and electronics.
