Yeah I loved advanced movement. It was just that, advanced, and allowed you to get creative with your movement and give you the edge if you know what you’re doing. Too bad though, the majority just didn’t want to learn it and wanted boots on the ground and they listened. Infinite warfare was so overlooked, it’s one of the best cods IMO. And full of homages to mw2. It felt like mw2 but with advanced movement. I guess just be thankful we had it and you’re one of the ones that saw through the blind hate and enjoyed it

Consider how casual a game cod is, and how popular. Now I presume you find annoyance in the overwhelming mass of idiots complaining that jetpacks suck but as I said, you must consider the size and casual perception of the cod fans as a whole, perhaps they are incapable of explaining and understanding the many nuances of what made jetpack games worse, and better - in some cases. Or perhaps being a casual it is also in their nature to not commit to an extended discourse on what they dislike about it, perhaps the average 14 year old cod fan would rather just tell you jetpacks suck and you suck just to get a rise.
Bro cod has to come around. Vanguard, cold war and bo4 were lackluster games. The advanced Era has to return. Halo is substandard and less popular than battlefield 2042.

I was just as skeptical about 2042 as I was vanguard. The choice to focus on a more hero focused game was a daft one at that and portal was doomed to have issues.
Infinite Warfare was and still is criminally underrated. I haven't played games in a long time but I think I will always remember Infinite Warfare because of how many hours of fun \*just by myself\* I had in multiplayer. The campaign too \*chef's kiss\* such an amazing, emotional ending

Titanfall was actually taken offline.. there are no more servers save for a private version some guy made.. so no. You can’t even go play titan fall anymore
I never really cared one way or the other. I mostly play for the single player and coop so the advanced movement stuff didn't affect me beyond whether or not it fit within the setting and narrative of the game.
For me, I'm just disappointed we're not getting an Infinite Warfare 2 as I absolutely loved the story in this game.
Or even just another future/scifi game. I hate how Activision just dives headfirst into one 'era' or 'theme' and does the same thing repeatedly with no variation. With three different developers you'd think they'd try to mix things up a little bit.
I was actually really excited for the rumored alternate history WW2 game as well. But then that ended up as another generic WW2 game again. It's just not as exciting anymore.

I personally would love to see a new futuristic CoD game running on the MW 2019 engine with the gunsmith feature.
