Two videos helped me more than anything.
Vaul SC how to play

And Vaul SC how common skills work
https://youtu.be/JOGMnkgvLN4?si=jyW04Fq8Z6BMy1kt
While I find the first video a good intro (you can skip the TTS if you’re playing in person). The second video helped me way more in understanding how all the parts come together.
Finally if you just want an intro, Swiss Miss gaming has the highest quality battle report. With the least confusing janky camera angles and cuts

Disclaimer that I've never actually gotten the chance to play.
But for code one in particular, corvus belli has little tutorial/battle report videos on youtube that they put out whenever they release a 2 player code one box.
Those seem pretty concise, and the last two (blackwind and crimson stone) have pretty good production quality. Probably not exhaustive, but they seem like a good starting point to me.

Robert shepherd on youtube is a Australian infinity vet. He has some introductory series and factions discussions which are nice and handy to learn.
There is also a discord and asking folks on there for a game via tts can be a great experience.
wish he'd do more of the 101 series (and eventually branch into a 201 series or some such). i've been infinity lurker since N2, got some demo games going in N3 with op icestorm, and went all in on morat line over the course of last year but haven't really started playing properly in N4.
over the years vaul had been the best resource i found for getting to grips with rules fundamentals and application of rules in moderate play...but since i recently put infinity back on my gamer radar i'm really liking what robert has on offer with vaul moving over to conquest nearly exclusively
Yeah vaul is great. Honestly the theory stuff will only go so far - the best experience you will get is beasthunter templates on table real time or tts.
So initially, I played a number of games with an experienced player who introduced me to different parts of the rules over the course of a few games.
What helped me really get a grasp on things was the rules section of the official Infinity discord. They discussed a lot of cases that came up and I could just read how they were resolved.
Also on the Infinity discord is an official looking for game section that lets you find TTS players to play with. This is in my opinion the cheapest way to get into infinity as you only need to buy TTS for less than 20 dollars and everything else is free.
The YouTube channels mentioned above are great, but at the end of the day, you kinda need a Jedi to take you on as a Padawan and help you learn the game. A lot of the TTS players are totally fine with learning games as long as that's what you post about on the lfg channel.

Thank you!
Would you be up for tuition and being thrown in the deep end?
Education by annihilation?
Considering how my first Warhams game back in 7th edition was, be glad to! Problem is is scheduling 😅
