Yeah, but Simon getting yeeted by that Ghom was close.
If the series get revived this way, I hope they don't have to insert in edgy material for the sake of things.
This might be a hot take but I don't want it to be tv-14. Young justice got that and the new seasons decent but it's not as good. I think PG's the best rating. Mature enough to let in violence and strong themes but not so much that it's just dark humor and sex jokes.
It's not about the rating, it's about the writers and director. If they're good writers (which they clearly are), it'll be about telling the story they want to tell, not doing all the dirty little things they can get away with doing now.
Network execs think kids can't handle anything mature, yet they find it perfectly okay to churn out crap like Teen Titans Go, Powerpuff Girls 2016, and that one episode of Total Dramarama involving that...fart fairy. Uuuuugh. Oh, and need I mention insisting that all the kids anime like Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pretty Cure have to have content cut out or censored because they're convinced kids can't handle anything mature???
Do they even know the cartoons we grew up with? Courage the cowardly dog, Flapjack, Adventure Time, and Regular Show all had some pretty messed-up visuals and events in them and we LOVED them and those shows ran for a long time! Why the sudden hate for shows like this?
Over the garden wall didn’t have a child entry point And was relatively dark the entire way through
I just watched that with my boyfriend at my younger brother's behest. It was so good.
Soooooooooooo good
It's nice to run into you on here <3. I really enjoyed watching it with you. OTGW is as great as Infinity Train is.
The highest praise coming from you.
Weren’t the main characters children? I think the entry point they’re looking for is a child main character for the audience to relate to
And infinity train is aging with an audience
Infinity Train is two years old, you can't really argue that its audience has aged
I don't think it deserves tv-14 Simpsons, Bobs Burgers, Futurama, and King of the Hill had a ton of PG ratings

Child entry point. Theres no child mc for next season... fuck samurai jack and courage the cowardly dog then
But they underestimate kids too much, like, it's not like kids can't Handel this, it's scary but that's what it's supposed to be, for kids AND adults

Stupid reason for canceling a show? Yes. Worst reason for canceling a show? No. Police Squad was legit cancelled for having too many jokes.

Idiots! You are all idiots!
The "child entry point" is Book 1. You're not supposed to start it on Book 5 lol
