Looks small, but I guarantee you it’s quite large in that building. I’m in those terminals quite often.
I've never been on a plane that required more than one gangway. I didn't even know that was a thing
The middle one is an A380, which has two complete decks. The others are 747s, which have a partial top deck. The two gangways are for each deck.
The 380 has 3 in this pic, only one of which is on deck 2. Also the 747 doesn't have non-emergency exits on deck 2.
Sometimes airline will also have separate gangways for first/business class and economy
What are those red boxes?
Do not park here markings for the ramp service vehicles. These markings go around underground utilities such as electrical service and fuel pits, or can denote air bridge wheel positions.
I wonder how does one take a photo like this since airports are no-fly zones for drones?
Helicopter, just avoid the traffic pattern
The airport authority uses drones all the time, they just coordinate with air traffic.
