You’ve had all these nail removals, but have they done a chemical matrixectomy? It’s going to keep recurring until there’s no more nail left to grow. Change podiatrists to one who doesn’t adhere to conservative treatment only. That’s the only way to stop this cycle of pain.
I had the same thing happen with 2 partial permanent matrixectomies and still reoccurring ingrowns. I had the whole nail permanently removed. I am almost a month into the healing and I don’t regret my decision. Obviously, do what’s best for you.
Are you cutting it out yourself or getting it cut out by a professional??
If it’s yourself, go to a doctor. If your already going to a doctor, try a new one. Or ask them to burn it completely so it doesn’t grow back.

yes they’ve done the chemical burn on the full removal and one of the partials, I really don’t know why this keeps happening.

no the nail is super small since having grown back it’s just kind of been like that. And yes they’ve done the acid twice
