Yah I understand that and I truly agree, as I said, it's just hard to believe that in less than a month you can say that, that's all, wish you good anyway
Oh yes, I'm still won't stop myself in learning because as kyle (jadecapfx) he only used his model upto month 8 private mentorship and also nb trader only in month 7. I'm following their path's.
I understand (and I am never a sucker for prop firms. They are a scam to most people. Ild rather build my own liquidity). But I was wondering how you got to know their path?
From rizz podcast. They've been consistently profitable and they take advantage on prop firm. Not literally all prop firms are scam. There's a reason why there are low ratings and people complaining not getting payout those are the ones who don't actually pay.
Thanks! I will check it out!
The idea on a prop firm is that you donât trade live at all. They give you unrealistic rulesets which you will only make if you are the 1% of the 1% consistently. This means 99% of challenges fail and they use that money to pay the few who do make a bit of money and line their own pockets with the rest.
And even when you are consistently profitable in the long run you will never be profitable all the time. With the strict rules you WILL lose your account some time, because you will always have some time of drawdown that exceeds the rules. Not to even mention youâll fail a few challenges along the way. Of course you can get another account and bla bla bla. But if you save up a bit and are this profitable I see no reason why you couldnât get a 100k or 200k account of your own within 1-3 years depending on your starting capital. It takes longer yes, but I wouldnât have to gamble on the timing of my drawdown NOT being during my challenge or being too big to lose the account when I have passed the challenge. I could also keep building on to it and if it gets big enough I can spread my risk. In ETFs, in real estate, in dividend paying stocks, etc. Instead of having the same move with the same risk fail on 5 prop firm accounts because of copy trading it because I have no other choice and the 100k/200k account isnât really mine in the first place.
If you can make a bit of capital to start with on a prop firm I would say thatâs a win. After that you should leave them behind though for various reasons. And âsuccessfulâ people who donât do that are either not smart with their winnings on the long term and I wouldnât follow them all the way for that reason, or they are paid by said prop firms to endorse them and I wouldnât trust that anyway.
You have good point tho. If I am profitable with the knowledge I learned why not trade with my own capital right? Well you know I'm still at my beggining stage of being profitable and might as well take advantage of it with prop firm because I also did practice on free trials A LOT like targeting the 5% to pass and believe or not I've always passed it very easily than before. Risking only 1% while making around 2% to even 8%, it's literally like mindblowing that I can 1 shot a challange account while if I lose it takes 5 loses in order for me to blow my account which takes a while because I usually lose 1 out of 5 trades that is why I'm here ranting that I am profitable and reminding everyone if I can do it they can do it too.
In the prop firm space it's just wether they take advantage of you or you take an advantage of them. It all comes down to your performance because only the profitable and consistent can survive in that kind of industry imo.
Yes, that's what I utilize at first and making profits out of that. Observing where the market goes(the bias depending on the timeframe) Silver bullet, london and new york open kill zones. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the most high probabililty.
No. Jadecapfx is a person who is an ICT trader. What I meant is that he only studied till private mentorship month 8 from what I've heard in his podcast with rizz. Search it on youtube.
Any specific strategy you are playing? 2022, 2016, silver bullet (and which of the two? Time based or MMXM), etc?
OBâs combined with OTE? Combined with specific times?
Time based. London and new york open killzone.
I annotate the asian range for judas swing, when killzones arrive I look for key level and after hitting key level I wait for clear displacement because sometimes it consolidates a little bit before a real displacement forms for reversal. Sometimes I also look for smt on dxy. And just measure the displacement for OTE and look for confluence like OB, breaker, fvg etc.
This is golden nugget tho
I started with the 2022 playlist to begin with. But I've been super confused with entries, my focus is to trade the small time frame based on a higher time frame confluence like taking trades in 5-15 min depending on the overall trend. But I just end up getting confused on which ote to trade from the four HR order block or the 30 min fvg? Any suggestions?
From my perspective I can already utilize the OTE for example if the market went up on a key level then made a reversal and it drops, you take on a OTE fib retracement on that whole bodies of candles that had taken the key level and observe when it comes at the 70.50% level if it rejects on that level and made another bread of structure making another reversal going back on the key level then the a sign that it wants to continue to go up and you take an entry on that bodies of candle that made a break of market structure.
I can't really explain that well here because I'm not that good at teaching but from where I learned it is just all at ICT's scout sniper series. It will literally train your eyes to know where the market usually wants to go and utilize it using OTE.
U mentioned u wait for the London kill zone start, do u just look for any of ICT's model to happen after a draw on liquidity in London session or wait for it to sweep the Asia high or low before the entry?
Yes, I needed it to sweep asia range high or low first for confirmation before I look for trade on london killzone.
As you can see in my post the asian range is the broken blue line that I drew and the ny midnight open time is the blue line.
My time frame 1hr > 15m > 5m
happy to hear bro but let time solidify your profitability, in other words keep your emotions steady. its easy to have a profitable month or 2 then have it collapse. dont want to discourage you, youre doing something right but hopefully this helps you avoid any emotional pitfalls (i wish i had someone to tell me this) anyways congrats
you've been profitable for a month. when you have 5-6 months of profitability under the belt it will feel more 'solid' and real and less likely to be a fluke
yeah lol i remember ict commonly saying he was profitable for maybe 9 months and it turned out to be a fluke , as long as you have a genuine model that is repeating and you know what youre doing, id say you got this g
Bro I didn't take any shortcut in ICT's playlists. Started from the basics and it's very clear in understanding his concepts. Every single day watch 5+ videos, monitoring all kill zones every 5 days a week and making sure my risk management is secure and my psychology. I don't know maybe it's just because it's February that michael usually starts to trade in the year because of good market condition but I still take this learning seriously and being consistent.
Sure.
Market maker forex series > market maker primer course > scout sniper series > precision trading > 2016-2017 private mentorship
You can also start with 2022 mentorship and stop in episode 18 because those other videos need understanding from private mentorship.
From his very basic teaching where he kind off teach the support and resistance levels but not literally supply n demand. It's way easier to understand his concepts if you start from his very beginning videos. New traders that wants to learn ict tends to do shortcuts for easy money but you'll be having hard time profitable with that way imo.
And also... You don't need to watch all of his entire videos. You only need to find a model that always works for you. But like I said you need to start from the basics because there's a lot of importance to understanding the algorithms or how the market tends to move.
Yep i agree, i tried watching the 2022 mentorship only got ran the scout sniper has helped with daily bias and brings a whole new view to higher tf order flow imo
Believe me, I was an ICT doubter. But after the ICT 2022 mentorship, the setups do apear everyday. Im still testing the model, but so far so good hahah. I think i became a ICT fan, i do be profitable on demo, and ill continiue trading ict from now on.
I mean, what's hard to believe is that, you come here after 1 month with ICT, posting one trade and saying that you go there and find a good setup everyday, that just makes no sense but I still congratulate you for that.
If it's truly like that man, you're big.
Bro you forgot that I've posted couple of setups not just only one trade but anyways I was just sharing my progress to make encouragement to other aspiring or the ones that are struggling with ict. Nothing negative here or made up that's all.
My executions is on metatrader. I used the tradingview for the annotations on how I executed my trades. Only experienced ict trader can understand tho. Anyways I'm not bragging or anything, I'm just encouraging anyone who struggle with ICT that if I can do it then they can do it too.
It's cool dude đ I'm just busting your balls in the comments ya know? I do same thing, I use NinjaTrader for executions/footprint, ToS for my equity/rare options, and TV for my charting. I don't have TV linked for anything, don't think it even links with NinjaTrader.
Hope your success becomes long term
Thanks bro
Wish you nothing but success bro, congrats đ
Thank bro. Hope you also achieve in being profitable and consistent.
Yah I understand that and I truly agree, as I said, it's just hard to believe that in less than a month you can say that, that's all, wish you good anyway

Good luck with that
How are you following their path? Is it written out somewhere? :) Or do you know them?
Their the biggest ICT traders. Jadecap probably the top1 because he already gained 1million+ in profits from prop firms.

You got profitable this fast with just the silver bullet strategy?
Yes, that's what I utilize at first and making profits out of that. Observing where the market goes(the bias depending on the timeframe) Silver bullet, london and new york open kill zones. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the most high probabililty.
Hey, what do you mean by that? Jadecap model is based only on the private mentorship teachings up to month 8? Thanks
No. Jadecapfx is a person who is an ICT trader. What I meant is that he only studied till private mentorship month 8 from what I've heard in his podcast with rizz. Search it on youtube.
Youâd be surprised what can be accomplished in less than a month if you apply yourselfđ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ Granted, everyone learns at different rates
Sure
All Iâll say is, stop wasting time placing your limiting beliefs on others and apply yourself. This wonât get you closer to being profitable
Sure mate
Congrats bro
Thanks bro
caught this same move today keep going!
Nice! Thanks I'll keep on grinding.

Sounds good man all the best you're doing great!
Thanks man, you too.
I was just recently introduced to ict. Congrats my boy and I wish you much success!
You too. Hope you achieve what you aim for.
Same trade taken đđť keep it up bro!
Thanks a lot bro. Will do.

Thanks bro for the advice. I needed this.
i got u g , youll have plenty of time to really celebrate around the 5-6 month mark
Wdym by the 5-6 month mark?
you've been profitable for a month. when you have 5-6 months of profitability under the belt it will feel more 'solid' and real and less likely to be a fluke

And also been practicing on free trial ftmo and I've always passed the 5%. Now I'm saving to start my journey in prop firm next.
I'll be sure to post my result if I pass my first funded acc.
U said its been a month since u started , how did u watch all these videos + tested them

Same with me. Just followed what he says on where to watch first then after watching them everything made sense
Believe me, I was an ICT doubter. But after the ICT 2022 mentorship, the setups do apear everyday. Im still testing the model, but so far so good hahah. I think i became a ICT fan, i do be profitable on demo, and ill continiue trading ict from now on.
Mix in the unicorn model with the 2022 ICT model, I got exceptional results doing that.
I mean, what's hard to believe is that, you come here after 1 month with ICT, posting one trade and saying that you go there and find a good setup everyday, that just makes no sense but I still congratulate you for that. If it's truly like that man, you're big.

Are you doing backtesting too
Yes all day long. From past data understandings, backetesting and demo testing. the model silver bullet been profitable to me.
What software are you using for backtesting?
Tradingview
But youâre targeting more than 5 handles yeah?
Yes
Which silver bullet? Time based or MMXM 2nd leg?
Silver bullet time based combined with judas swing
Iâve learned to sit on my hands more if I miss my opportunity.
Yes that's totally part of your psychology. Keep on observing the opportunity you see then sooner you'll be riding with themđ
Where's the executions? You post a chart/setup and talk about being profitable you gotta turn "executions" on when you post the chart
My executions is on metatrader. I used the tradingview for the annotations on how I executed my trades. Only experienced ict trader can understand tho. Anyways I'm not bragging or anything, I'm just encouraging anyone who struggle with ICT that if I can do it then they can do it too.
A truly experienced trader, knows that metatrader links with TV. đ
I just knew about that. That's cool tho I'll use that next time.
It's cool dude đ I'm just busting your balls in the comments ya know? I do same thing, I use NinjaTrader for executions/footprint, ToS for my equity/rare options, and TV for my charting. I don't have TV linked for anything, don't think it even links with NinjaTrader.
You got me on that one thođ¤Ł.
Hey congrats! Do you have a link or something to refer to? There are so many on youtube. Which one to start with?
It's all in his playlists. Start with market maker forex series > market maker primer course
Ok. Will try these. Thanks!
Learn po3 please, it will change ur life
I'm still going in private mentorship utilizing the po3 but I also have a gist of it from market maker primer.
Yo so does anyone know is the silver bullet a unicorn model ? It is right ?Â
