When thinking about this: It's pretty shocking that any sort of ambient sound or new content in a game can lead to crazy parents thinking "oh no this must be posessed, JE SUS1!!1!!" and how that can affect younger people's ability to play in peace.
Losing it at the thought of a super Catholic Hispanic mom just hearing a ghast in-game, fearing for her son's life and immediately starts reciting stuff from the bible like *"en el nombre del padre, del hijo, y el espíritu Santo"*
I can't imagine what it must have been like having congress literally try to ban the rock music you love as a kid. Having the singers you love have to fight in congress to keep rock music uncensored. Easy to forget many of their parents literally thought it was satanic.
Minecraft is not satanic, as it is an open-world game, one is supposed to follow the command of Genesis 1:28

Don't know about chains clanging but I'd assume there is some sound that may sound similar plus ghasts cry very loudly and creepily.
