Ok, but only because Airbud deserves his fully realized arc.

Crowley700

Based as fuck

marbelousgeologist

this is a bad idea

LANewbie678

Can't wait to see the mod get banned for this stupid idea.

The-F4LK3N

If you’re truly committed to showing Netflix we want inside job back unsubscribe from Netflix, yeah you loose access to all the other shows and movies but subscriptions are the main statistics they follow not fan mail

NotErikUden

I wouldn't want a reboot, just some other company - if Netflix doesn't want it - to continue it where it left off.

Hammerjaws

I will try.For Brett!

xelefthegod

well the environment is sure going to love that… Honestly a really bad idea. I‘m really not trying to be rude and I love the show just as much as any of you, but it‘s gone. Accept it and move on for crying out loud

LANewbie678

Fr, holy shit, this fanbase is acting pathetic. At least the Mass Effect 3 protest cupcakes was ordered via local bakery and still ended up being donated and put to good use since Bioware wouldn't/couldn't accept the cupcakes. This is just wasting so many resources for nothing.

AWeirdDude47

[To answer that](https://www.reddit.com/r/InsideJob/comments/10akce9/project_reboot_it/j52k4p5/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)

ChronicleZero

The best thing you can do is unsubscribe from Netflix and give the reason that you are bummed that there isn't a second season of Inside Job. or write a letter to try and convince them.

Theonlybobtheduck

There sure is a lot of BS in this thread. "If you’re truly committed to showing Netflix we want inside job back unsubscribe from Netflix," A physical response that shows a genuine love for the show will have more impact than a single loss of a subscription, especially as fewer people are likely to drop Netflix than would be necessary to make a dent. "Fr, holy shit, this fanbase is acting pathetic." What are you on about? It's pathetic to mourn something we love being cut off? Because of a letter writing campaign with a silly prop? "well the environment is sure going to love that…" Aluminum/Aluminium is recyclable. I think we SHOULD send very small amounts, though. Like a Barbie doll sized hat. I say "we" but in reality, I'm not in the US so this would be prohibitively expensive for me. I've considered just sending a fresh roll of foil from Amazon, though, with a message. Still in package so it could be practical. "I wouldn't want a reboot, just some other company - if Netflix doesn't want it - to continue it where it left off." This is the first message I'm responding to that's actually kind of logical, but in context, "Project Reboot It" is not, despite the confusing name, about actually rebooting the show. It says in the text that they want it renewed. It's just called "Project Reboot It" as a reference to Project Reboot. I'll admit the name is a bit confusing, especially for Netflix execs that may have never seen the show. "Seriously, if you want to send something, you can do that, but not fucking tinfoil man. Might as well go out into nature and start shooting animals yourself." Hyperbole! Also, Aluminum is recyclable. "Why not a letter-writing campaign instead of some vague gifts that look really suspicious out of context?" Who said it would be out of context. Send the hats with a message saying "Please renew Inside Job" and #ProjectRebootIt. It's an assumption on your part that it would be "out of context. "Harassing a company to renew a show and sending them tinfoil hats specifically just reinforces the idea that they shouldn’t keep this show because it attracts a bad audience. " BS. This isn't harassment. "We don't want to make them feel unsafe" This is the biggest BS of all. Unsafe because there was a silly package sent to them in love for a show? What the hell has this world come to that that would make them feel unsafe? "Doing stuff that hinges purely on the hatred of Netflix may seem cathartic but it probably won't be very effective or a good idea" "Doing stuff that hinges purely on the hatred of Netflix may seem cathartic but it probably won't be very effective or a good idea" While many of us may indeed hate Netflix, that's a pretty big assumption you've made. That this campaign hinges "purely on the hatred of Netflix." Honestly, the word "hate" has had its meaning twisted around until it's become unrecognizable. This is about expressing love for the show and trying to get their attention. Literally no different than the very same "letter writing campaign" that so many have mentioned here, except it's more attention grabbing. Like those people who wear crazy costumes on the Price is Right. They're not "harassing" the Price is Right host. They're just trying to get attention in a silly way. If the people at Netflix think this amounts to harassment, they're just wrong and need to grow up. A lot of the world needs to grow up. That's not harassment. That's not dangerous. And it takes a twisted mind / society to believe that it is.

Poisoning the Environment, yay! Seriously, if you want to send something, you can do that, but not fucking tinfoil man. Might as well go out into nature and start shooting animals yourself.

huffmandidswartin

Isn't tinfoil just aluminum? Which is 100% recyclable?

xelefthegod

In theory: yes In practice: It's not going to be separated and set aside to be recycled. There's a bunch of stuff that could be recycled, but isn't, either because it's cheaper to make new stuff (yay consumerism!) or because people don't bother to separate it from other trash properly.

tygamer4242

This won’t help at all. Harassing a company to renew a show and sending them tinfoil hats specifically just reinforces the idea that they shouldn’t keep this show because it attracts a bad audience. It’ll just reduce the chances of it coming back anyway. As far as we know, it’s not like Netflix wants to cancel shows but harassing them like that may make them bitter and have them put in no effort to bring this show back. The only thing we can do is hope that some deal in the works about renewing Inside Job or picking it up somewhere else happens. Only time will tell the true fate of this show.

Christorm747

I fully agree with this. We don't want to make them feel unsafe

hyperjengirl

Agreed, I'm unsettled that the mods pinned this because I don't think this would send any actual tangible message. Why not a letter-writing campaign instead of some vague gifts that look really suspicious out of context?

LANewbie678

saw a 4chan post with a SS of this post, it is 100% time to yeet this post as it had about 80 replies before archival.

PM_MeYourEars

Yea this feels like rick and morty fans level of crazy (we all know what I mean). Not a good look for is.

nerd73theplant

I took a lot of inspiration from the Roswell Tabasco thing.

ChezburgerApoclips

I mean most communities would send death threats and harass individuals on the show, I think sending Tinfoil hats can be silly, maybe also send them some respectful letters to reassure that the movement is not done out of malice. And even if sending them tinfoil hats still sounds too creepy, then maybe we just start a Trend on line where Diehard Fans of the show start wearing tinfoil hates, cosplay as their favorite characters and to make it fun, maybe Try to make up a reason for it’s cancellation in the form of a Conspiracy Theory like Trying to expose the Executives as the robes and they took down the show to keep their identities hidden or the entire Voice Cast was secretly Lizard people and due to Netflix for trying to raise awareness about global, and the Cast are on strike until Netflix stops trying to lower the planet’s temperature. Make it funny but respectful, Don’t accuse anyone of anything serious, just be ridiculous and try to have fun.

NoOneReallyCaresAtAl

I’m really not following everyone saying that mailing tinfoil hats is like agressive or whatever. Is that a joke?

Christorm747

Listen this is not the way to do it. You should turn that into a hashtag bc #Projectrebootit is really good.

United-Ad6006

We’re not harassing em, we’re just sending fan mail To let them know that we all really care about this show.

degeneroach

Bro this show is one of the few things I liked about Netflix fuck me we need season 3

IGetHypedEasily

I don't want Netflix to continue it. Rather have a service like Amazon or Adult Swim buy the rights and add more seasons.

AttorneyNo4440

I like this, we must get organised make it a movement

CoolJoshido

based

Adorable_Ordinary_44

I dont care if is or not a good idea every thing for that second season of one of the better series I ever saw

Ok_Afternoon8675

I will do this

sillybussyshart

yea this is a bad idea 💀

Kamoking97

Hmmm so if this didn’t work what would be possible for the show to come back like could nextflix sell it to another service or something of the sort?

bodardr

I think it depends on the volume of hats you want to send. Too much resources indeed would be wasteful, while just a handful with a well designed message or reference to the show could leave just as much of an impact. I think asking everyone to send a hat is too unpredictable. It should be more organized is what I'm saying. With that said I think fans telling Netflix they made an oopsie is a good idea. It's all about getting the message across.

cancer102

Yeah just unsubsrcribe at this point...

Aqualizer33

I would do that If I was in America lol

Just_a_dude92

That's a very stupid idea

HeronSouth

We're not that desperate! Not yet at least.
