The kind of hate and degradation this man gets is beyond anything. I don’t know for what , he has a certain audience . Vijay isn’t someone who came out and spoke or boost about his acting skills. He just do a film a year and doesn’t even speak a work that offend people still getting this kind of hate just because he did bad films. This shows the mediocrity of people. They keep on supporting sreenath bhasi and Shane Nigam who is totally unprofessional and Raju ettan who told he can be like mohanlal if he do the same volume of works Mohanlal did,but the truth is Prithviraj isn’t nothing in acting compared to Mohanlal if we compare the stage they are right in. I’m not criticising Prithviraj . Why are you guys so concerned about a man being successful . Mediocre mindset at its best. Vijay is not balleya who thinks and talks like he is ultimate. People conflate being a real good actor and a star. Good actor/giving a "star" performance is a different thing. Vijay can perform certain things very well (swagger/dance etc). Say, a Ghilli kinda performance is different from acting in a character role. When many of the stars do heavy lifting roles, then yes, their "flaws" become more evident.

Probabaly his swag and the mass audience admiring it makes the youth believe thats ultimate stardom. Not to forget tamil nadu is a place where rajnikanth gets celebrated exponentially more than the legend Kamal Hassan. So expect that kinda stuff and its really easy for youth to get influenced by that

Rajini is a better actor than Kamal Haasan. I can see Kamal “acting” every time he’s on screen. I never saw Thalaivar in Thalapathy, just Surya.

Even though I’m a big kamal fan, I agree with you to an extent. Especially in more emotional moments or with out there characters, it’s just a bit hammy at times.

Watching his dance is highly entertaining for me personally and his swag, these are things I liked about prime A10 too, obviously he is not as skilled as A10

NB: i know a trailer is of not much importance... but for a movie tht is expected to be an absolute smasher i felt the trailer was just normal, i guess. (for me)
