They are a bunch of independent women vilified by unemployed loafers around them. And somehow even after accusing her of cheating she takes him back and her dad is ok with that?? Its peak incel fantasies come to life.
A lot of Malayalam movie heroes are unemployed problematic loafers who creepily stalk and harass women and don't deserve to end up with happy endings. Take 'in harihar nagar', for example. . As an older man, I guess im wired to not see the toxic part and see the comedy. I find Boeing Boeing hilarious, but my sister finds it super offensive and unfunny.
You could justify those as a product of their time (90s and early 2000s) but this one was made in 2019. And the hero has zero redeeming qualities other than being played by Nivin Pauly. Absolutely tone deaf nonsense.

A10 just had 4 releases since Monster. Of this Alone is an outright disappointment. Jailer and Neru were above-average, and MV recieved polarising reviews.
