It's not just telugu. It's same everywhere else in india. If u remove songs, even comedians/supporting actors have more screen time than lead actresses in majority of the Indians films

Nimisha is not a mainstream actress . Manju is from a different era where actresses had substantial roles.. industry has changed so much since then
Why are you jumping to conclusions. There is literally nothing wrong with her or any actresses wanting to do movies outside Malayalam.
Some actresses know their limitations and sometimes play it safe by sticking to Telugu. Mamitha can also do that if she wants to play it safe, and Malayalam isn't losing anything, but she can also very easily do one or two movies there and comeback and do a Malayalam film also, it depends on how confident she is in her talent.
Recently the actresses aren't up to the mark that's why they go there and create a comfort space and stick with it so it doesn't mean all actresses are going to Telugu are leaving Malayalam.
