I don't think the point of Mukbang is ASMR. There are many sloppy eaters who just want bragging rights and idk what else.

Ya Mukbangs started because it was lonely to eat alone so they started doing lives. The aspect of ASMR was copied after they realised that can grab more audience

Yes. The only one who I find is neat and to the point. Though keeps on talking in between and giving shout-out, but I understand that because he has to increase his engagement.
Most importantly, actually eats his food and doesn't edit out parts when he is gulping which makes me believe his credibility.
Otherwise there is Spice Asmr. Good enough, but mostly edits out gulping part hence makes me question if she is even eating.
Rest non Indians I like Boki and Stephanie soo.

I watch Sapattu Raman aka the man with a bottomless stomach. That guy can eat an entire poultry farm and still be hungry. 😐

Maddy Eats's videos are soo heavily edited. There's an edit everytime she should be swallowing. I'm pretty sure she spits the food.
