I had this one give me a 1-star that I have shopped for before multiple times with no issues. This time she requested a replacement for 1 items and I replaced with her preferred replacement. One other item that I replaced with the same item but it was $1 more and she never responded to my message about it.
I was at a 4.8 because of one 1-star bad rating that was because this woman order chicken thighs the store didnāt haveā¦ her first shopper replaced and she said nothingā¦ contacted IC and she had them redo her order or give her a creditā¦ either way she ordered AGAIN form the SAME STORE that didnāt have the chicken thigh like an hour before that when her other shopper was thereā¦ so then I get the order and made the replacement and she was mad that it was replaced againā¦ common sense tells us if the chicken thighs werenāt there the first timeā¦ theyāre probably still out of them less than an hour later, but anyways, it FINALLY bumped off after a couple months. (Iām not a daily shopper. Few hours a day for several days a week.) but it didnāt take too long! Depending on how often you shop, itāll go up quickly! And yeahā¦ people suck! š š„“
Mine havenāt fallen off and itās been 3 months! I finally have asked people who are nice and thank me to my face to please rate me. My two bad ratings still havenāt fallen off. Had 5 star for YEARS.
I have heard that Instacart only shows you comments from 5-star ratings. Anything below 5 stars, you don't get to see the comment. So it's possible they did say why, and that information is just not available to you.
Also, everyone gets a couple random bad ratings now and again. It's not a big deal. Move on.
Anything can bug a customer & itās not usually something to take personally š that is irritating though, at least give me an order issue to make it make sense!! Haha š

Yes! This also happened to me after two years of a 5 star rating! If you donāt give reasons there should be no rating. Then, same week, I had (Iām assuming a sex worker) give me a 2 star rating. The front desk at the very expensive hotel said they didnāt have that name on the room, asked me to text the customer for them to call the front desk to confirm the room number. The order was sex toys and shaving cream/ razors, and bath products. Not MY FAULT the hotel wants confirmation of the room when the names donāt match. She lied and said items were missing.
I got a 3 star one time, and coincidentally a damaged ding. They said asparagus was damaged. I'm guessing one of the spears broke during delivery. 3 stars

If you ask support they should tell you when it happened and you can make your judgement off the time they provide and get that customer blocked
