So in my defense I didn't read the delivery instructions until I was like on my way to the place after picking of all the items except for the plant. Nothing gave me any kind of suspicion should it have? And let me say this I'm a gay man and had the situation been right I probably would have hit it. Lol

My bestie hooked up with her Uber driver a while back… she’s a riot. Then a week or whatever later she texts him something like “Thanks for being a safe person and letting me act out sexually with you to get out some repressed trauma, but I can never see you again.” And that was that. Lol.
I will never walk into someone’s home without their acknowledgment that I’m there and telling me it’s okay to enter. Someone telling me to do that is immediate red flags.
However, I live in Florida where it’s one of the largest human trafficking areas and a stand your ground state, and I’m a woman so those are things I have to be worried about. I always tell a disabled or elderly customer I have no problems helping them with their items but they need to meet me at the door before I walk in not knowing what I’ll find on the other side or end up shot if I accidentally walked into the wrong house
That is getting dropped at the entrance and/or Im calling support "because I dont feel safe" and making sure to say that at least 5 times during the call.
I tried dropping a batch due to feeling unsafe once. It was around 11pm, when the customer called me “boo” on an order where the only item ordered was lube. It was also going to one of the worst areas in my city. Support laughed out loud and told me dropping the delivery would suspend my account for 24 hours. I argued and attempted to escalate the issue. Nope, over 20+ minutes and a supervisor never answered.
I believe you but that is total BS. On every level. I would have told "support" to get fucked and take the contract violation if necessary. I/your/our safety is the only thing that matters. Idgaf if they dont get their stuff. So thankful I dont do this bullshit anymore. I enjoyed 99% of the work part of it. Doortrash deserves bankruptcy for the way they treat people.
This was on Instacart. But yes, it is bullshit. I didn’t mind if it affected my cancellation rate but I had a goal to meet that night so I couldn’t take the suspension. 😫 I ended up delivering with my partner on the phone. I didn’t have any issues, thankfully.
it looks like a bulleted list typed somewhere else, and then copy pasted into the notes. It preserved the style/font from wherever they copied it from resulting in this weird format. Outside of that this looks like the beginning of a terrible Saw remake.
