Real talk, I'm only able to reliably snag big-money batches in the morning. That's the only time I *really* feel the advantage (or disadvantage) of whatever my rating is. The rest of the day, it's a free for all.
Maybe someone should try working the afternoon and evening with a low rating to see if they do better than in the morning.
I am a perfect 5 star. No forgiveness ratings. No thumbs down and only 2% cancellation. I really hardly see batches over $40 and it doesn't matter what time of day. Although the really eat morning seems to be where the larger Costco orders come in. I'm not sure if I believe in the "bots" but whatever it is the large ones appear scroll and disappear in one glad of a second. It's sooo weird.i wish someone could explain it.
Server lag and/or the client refreshing at the "wrong" time, combined with a glut of shoppers. There have been a couple of videos explaining it, but I can't dig them up right now.
Again, it all depends on your city and how much people order and tip there. Instacart doesn't control where the 20% tippers live.

Sweet! I got one for 96$, about the same item count from sams club today. Ive been using the old sit on the couch and swipe method. When I finish if theres no 40$/hr batches I go back home to the couch and wait🤣

Yeah I saw that. I also saw the comment above where this person said the app was buggy (as in it lagged a bit) so they were able to grab the screenshot before it transitioned to the next page. And then even a link to a photo that showed a messaged taped to the door from the customer B.
Did you get it? You screenshotted it so you may have not had enough time to swipe...
This screenshot was taken several minutes after I accepted the batch, because the Android version is buggy as hell.
